They are easy to set up, stable, reliable and quite fast, not that the others lack those characteristics. Being a Fedora contributor, I would have to throw in Fedora Server, but I honestly don’t think it’s a very good idea to have a bleeding edge OS on your data-sensitive servers. I am also a loyal RedHat dog, so I would root for RHEL and CentOS.If you look at other ranking websites, e.g. TechRadar, you will find the same names circulating over and over (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS).TL;DR if you want a free distro, get CentOS.
