Best Place To Trade In Games

Is EB Games best place to trade your games?

EB Games is one of the worst places to trade anything in. The most they will give you for your Xbox 360 is 150-200 dollars and for your Nintendo Wii the will give your areund 75-125 dollars. Ebay is a much better place to sell anything. I just put up my video game console up there because i was tired of EB Games being cheap. Hope this helps.

What is the best place to trade/sell games?

ignore what everyone has answered and check this out. go to glyde.com . they buy and sell video games, books, cds and dvds. when you sell your video games on there, they will be sold based on what condition your game is in. if its in good condition, you will sell it for a good price, about 90% of the resale price. (example, say you trade in ninja gaiden 2. right now that game goes for 20bucks new, and about 17bucks used. this site will help you sell it for about $15.50, not $5 like gamestop would pay you for it)

the only drawback with the site is its a amazon.com ish site. you put your game up for sale and have to wait for someone to buy it. but when you do put your game up for sale, if you chose their suggested price, the site will move your copy of that game to the front of the line and make sure it gets sold first.

when its sold, the website sends you a pre-paid envelope to put your sold item in, you do so, then just put it in the mailbox and youre set. you do have to pay a minor shipping fee, but if you want, they take that small fee out of the profit you made for selling your item, so you never have to worry about it.

after you sell your stuff, you can use your money as credit for on the site, or cash out and get the money for yourself.

since you have Wii and DS games, they should sell fairly quick. good luck!

Is there another place to trade in games besides gamestop?

there is another store besides Gamestop called GAMECRAZY, it is owned by Hollywood video. This is where i also go oto to trade in games.
Also, don't go to EB games its a waste of time, because it is owned by gamestop so most of the time you will get the same value.

What is the best place to buy video games, other than Gamestop?

Hello fellow console gamer!I’ve been in the same “situation”; GameStop is expensive and there are practically no other places that sell discs and I couldn’t be bothered to buy something from PlayStationStore. My reasoning was mostly that I got banned from ps network due to bad network.I would recommend that you look at any local electronic store and look the gaming section. It’s probably on the more expensive side of the spectrum, but it’s a start. Other than that, you can find a local place that sells used games (doubt you’ll find any of the new and awesome games there though). You’ll most likely also find various Facebook sites/groups where people trade/sell/give away used or unwanted games. You can of course use amazon, eBay or aliexpress if you prefer that. If you know any other sell/trade sites that are from your home country, you can try there.Good luck mate!

Best place to sell old games and consoles?

I have an original xbox with a lot of games, and a n64 with some games. I wanna find out what which place will get me the most for these products. I know gamestop sucks a** so thats out of question and i dont think anyone on ebay wants this stuff. Im thinkin pawn shop or rons coin and collectibles. Thoughts?

Besides GameStop, where else can I trade in Video Games?

It's already been mentioned in these answers, but most towns and cities have at least one local, geeky shop, and most of these shops will either buy games, or at the very least direct you to a place that will. However, one commonly overlooked option is Newbury Comics.Newbury Comics is only located in five New England states, these states being New Hampshire with four stores, Rhode Island with two, one each in Connecticut and Maine, and 20 in Massachusetts where the company was founded. It's a retail chain that sells new and used comics, music, and DVDs, but there's usually a small section for games as well. You can sell CDS, DVDs and BluRays, and Video Games to a Newbury Comics store, and sometimes it's even a better option than Gamestop. While Gamestop calculates prices using it's own stock of used games and it's own supply and demand, essentially regulating their own internal economy, Newbury Comics tends to value trade-ins based on their average value and rarity on other markets. One time I sold a CD to Newbury Comics that didn't exist in their internal database, and the cashier checked the CD’s average sale price on Amazon to calculate how much to pay me for it. However, this also comes with a notable drawback: when the CD was seen to be selling for 100 dollars and upwards online, the cashier had to call her district manager to see what she was allowed to pay for me for the CD. I was told the most she could give me was a maximum of 10 dollars for the CD, and like the dumb, desperately broke kid I was at the time, I took it.This means that if a game is worth 20 dollars and Newbury Comics can only give you 10, you're better off trying to find a local market or selling to Gamestop, where theorerotically, there is no maximum price, as I gave customers over 30 dollars on occasion for certain games, usually rare JRPGs. Also, unlike Gamestop, Newbury Comics can refuse to buy the game from you if they determine its value to be low enough. Technically Gamestop can do this too, but they only really ever do this if it's a five-years-outdated yearly sports game; at my store in the backroom we had stacks of games like Madden 2006 and NBA2k 07 that the store computer-system wouldn't even allow us to sell, so my store manager simply threw them in the dumpster out back.If you live in the New England area, and for whatever reason don't want to do business with Gamestop, Newbury Comics is an option worth looking into.

Where are the best places to sell used game consoles?

there are multiple options available… Firstly, I’d suggest the For Sale Marketplace on apps like Offer Up and LetGo .. you’ll get a fair price for your hardware, but it will take some patience…If you’re in a hurry to sell, you can always trade in the hardware at a game store for something fast and easy.. but fast and easy will come at the cost you’ll get.If you’re in a remote area where neither of the options are really viable, you also have Ebay/Craigslist/FaceBook for Sale groups … all of these options might help you get a fair price for your hardware. Be patient and offer a good price and you’ll be fine.As a side note… and I’m pretty sure you know this, but Hardware/Game Systems/Video Games don't carry as much value as we’d like to think. If you spent all that money on a game system, don’t expect to get anywhere near close for it, especially if you want a fast sale. Thousands of game systems/Games go on sale daily.. It’s a very saturated market, so try to reasonably price it and you’ll sell it. If the price is off the charts, you’ll notice the lack of any replies/interest in the for sale items.I’d suggest looking around on Craigslist at prices for what you’re selling to get an idea how much they are going for in your area.Hope this helps! Best of luck selling!

Can you sell/trade games on your Steam library?

As others have pointed out already, it is impossible to sell the games you bought on Steam. You don't buy keys there, you just get games that are instantly activated on your account. The latter you might try to resell, but it's a) not OK according to EULAs, b) highly impractical, as you would have to create a separate account for each of your games. Now, reselling games was possible via Steam Gifts, but Steam's policy on these was changed about two years ago. Gifts no longer go to your inventories, instead they are immediately sent to the recipient. If they don't accept it, you just get a refund. And as far as cross-country gifting is concerned, if there is a serious price disparity between regions, this option is simply unavailable. This does not apply to pre-change gifts, so if you have anything left, you can still do Steam trades. If you'd like to swap your stuff for extra moolah, you can put them up on sale on gaming marketplaces, such as G2A. There are millions of customers there, so I'm pretty sure you'll sell leftover copies in no time.
