Best Program For Monitoring Incoming / Outgoing Network Traffic

Is using employee monitoring software a good idea?

It’s good idea to install Employee Monitoring Software, why?Without EMS, it is vastly difficult to find whether the employees are doing their work, how much time they spend working and how much work they actually get done. This is a big problem which may reflect badly on growth and productivity of any business in the long run. Employee monitoring software keeps track of outgoing and incoming chats and e-mails, application and website usage, comprehensive file usage, interaction of windows with internet packet data, desktop screenshots, software installations, keystrokes typed and others.EMS- Better for Employers, Greater for Employees!EMS gives employers a chance to find talented and hard-working individuals from all over the world and use their potential. It’s not only useful for employers, but employees as well. They get a chance to prove how many hours they spent on working. Hence, employees don’t have to worry about unfairly getting fired or being paid less.Lack of awareness regarding the functioning of employee monitoring solutions and legal and ethical issues concerning privacy and security of employee is a major challenge in the growth of the EMS market.Download PDF Sample for More Inside

How can I monitor/calculate the internet data usage of my home WiFi network by all devices (not just one)? Is there a software, control prompt command, hidden setting, etc.?

My ISP could not explain how we kept exceeding our monthly usage cap... so I built a tool that allowed me to independently validate their reported usage.Yet Another Monitor (YAMon) is now (arguably) the most popular usage monitoring tool for routers running DD-WRT, OpenWrt, AsusWRT, LEDE, etc. (but of course I’m biased). It provides an detailed view of all of the traffic (downloads and uploads) for every device connecting to your router. Usage data is aggregated by hour, day and month (within your ISP billing interval) and can be rolled-up into arbitrary groups (e.g., by family member, roommate, device location or function, or by any other logical grouping of devices).YAMon allows you to see who is using how much data, when!YAMon supports `Bonus Data` intervals (i.e., unlimited download between 2AM & 7AM) and is the first tool of its class to report on IPv6 data. For more info, see http://usage-monitoring.com/ or YAMon - Usage Monitoring for your Router

Monitor data using on BT Home Hub 5.B?

So I m getting fibre optic broadband from BT and was wondering if there s a way to monitor how much data is being sent/received mainly for the wireless connections.

I have give the wireless key out to some of my neighbors (block of flats) on the grounds they don t abuse it and constantly cap out the speeds..

Is there a tool I can download to my PC that lets me view connected wireless devices to the router and see how much data is being used?

Is it possible for a company to track outgoing emails of an employee?

I'm a newly hired employee and during my orientation on my first day, they told me that I can't use nor check my personal email. Instead, I should just use my company email and I'm not supposed to surf any website aside from Yahoo! and MSN because they can keep track of anything according to them! Is this possible? I'm really getting bored here and I don't have Yahoo Messenger!
