Are there any Gothic Clothing Stores in Houston, Tx?

You can find Gothic clothing everywhere. JC Penny's, stores at the mall, thrift stores, Good Will. They might not be filled up black and skulls, but you can find something to add to your wardrobe. Most goths shop at a lot of different normal clothing stores and find things. In the start goths thrifted things.

You could use google maps to look for alternative stores in your area. There might be some. I'm not aware of any big brands in Texas. You could also check online for clothing.

What region is houston texas?

First answer is correct. Second answer makes no sense.

"Even Texans don't like Houston that much?" Yet it's the largest city in the state. (Mildred is living up to the stereotype of Austin residents.) ha!

Are there any gundam shops or stores in Houston, TX?

i wanted to buy some model kits and get into modeling and i was wondering if there was anywhere i could buy them in houston...

Have you ever bought something from a thrift store or a charity shop and found out it's worth a lot more than you paid for it?

Many things. I shop at Salvation Army almost every Wednesday, all year long, because on Wednesdays everything is half off. One time about 25 years ago an elderly woman died & her “Stuff” was donated to Salvation Army. I bought several Asian art works of porcelain & jade, two signed LLadro statues, two pieces of Belleek, several old porcelain teacups & saucers from Bohemia, & a sterling sugar & creamer set, nothing was marked over $4.99 which meant I paid half or $2.50 for some & down to a dollar for other items. About ten years ago, the truck was unloading a chair, which I called dibs on, by ripping off the bottom of the price tag, which is a two part tag on furniture; it was a $3000 Ekhorn recliner from Sweden as shown below but in a soft mocha color; I paid $49 for it, I keep it in my bedroom because my cats’ eyes lit up & it was in perfect condition & my cats would have shredded it in days. My bedroom is off limits to my cats because they wreck things, so whatever isn’t in a curio cabinet or china cabinet goes in my room or my hobby room next to my closet. My Siamese pushes things off the furniture to the floor, so I removed anything breakable & put it where she can’t break it.I shop probably 49 Wednesdays a year & find all kinds of treasures to give as Christmas & birthday gifts, from Deerfoam slippers (store donated cases of them in men’s & women’s styles when boxes were crushed but slippers were fine. They were $1.99 or maybe 2.99 so a dollar or a dollar & a half per pair. I know I bought ten pair in different sizes.) I bought a dozen new pyrex bowls with lids with labels on them for a dollar each, another store donation. Stuffed animals with slightly torn tags or new toys with slightly damaged boxes, easy to tape box & donate to Toys for Tots. Cut glass or crystal serving pieces & candle sticks & sugar & creamer sets & vases, esp old cut glass or crystal. I also caught the truck unloading a full-sized suit of armor, (which I ran to & ripped the bottom of the tag off, putting dibs on it) for $30. He’s been in my entry hall for nine or ten years now. I love shopping at Salvation Army. Not only do I find treasures, I can afford to give at least a dozen gifts to each person I love and several gifts to friends, and many toys to toys for Tots, which I could never do if I bought things new/retail.

Where are the best places for shopping in Houston?

Now that it's officially Holiday Time, I'd avoid the Galleria like the plague (unless you like lots of traffic and crowds). If you're looking for discount shopping for clothing, look no further than the Westheimer strip between Montrose and Shepherd. There are a lot of relatively well-priced thrift shops and antique stores along that strip, and it's easy to spend your entire day browsing around at each place. If you're looking for gifts or high-end items, then Rice Village and Highland Village are both good spots to go to. They give you a lot of similar  premium goods to the Galleria, but without actually being the Galleria.

What are some fun places to go in Houston, TX?

Houston boasts many beautiful city parks that I can heartily recommend. Memorial Park is one of the largest and centrally located, but I just walked with a friend yesterday morning at the lovely Terry Hershey park out on the west side of town. Here’s the complete list. It might be fun to challenge yourself to see every one of them!: Our Parks and Greenspaces A - F (you’ll have to click through to other links for G-Z, there are that many!)And Houston is well known for its museums as well. I love being a member of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, but there are many, many other fine ones, many clustered in the Museum district. Start your search here: Welcome to the Houston Museum District Association. And if you’re a space nut, well, there’s always NASA down south. Here’s a link to Space Center: Space Center Houston | Gateway to NASA Johnson Space CenterIf you like to people watch and see things you don’t expect in Texas, head to any of our “chinatowns” (we have several - and they aren’t necessarily Chinese either. You can find Vietnamese shops, Korean stores, and indeed Chinese, too. And don’t miss out on the “little India” area around Hillcroft and Hwy 59. The food in these areas is fabulous and affordable too.If upscale shopping is your deal, hit the Galleria for your fix of Neiman-Marcus fix (or hundreds of other shops): Welcome To The GalleriaThere are millions of other things to do, too - this list is only scratching the surface of the most apparent places, but dig a little further and you’ll find your own favorite little pockets. I personally love all the Half-Price Books bookstores and many wonderful thrift stores (The Cottage Shop on lower Westheimer, the Purple Cat up on 34th, For the Cause down on Galveston all get shout-outs from me for being great thrifts that support amazing causes) - so get out there and explore!
