Best Time Of Day For Outdoor Wedding In Late Or Early June Near River

When is the best time of year to travel to the UK?

The weather is a lottery whenever you come. It can be very pleasant at any time of year, and it can be utterly miserable at any time of year. It's just as likely to be miserable in July as it is in December, and the only difference is that it will be slightly colder if it is miserable in December.Check out this climate chart:This tells you that rainfall is fairly even throughout the year, but there is actually more in summer. And it tells you that it is warmer in summer (though not by much) and the average night-time temperature never falls below freezing. What it doesn't tell you is what the weather is going to be like when you plan a cycling trip across England six months in advance. You have absolutely no way of knowing what the weather is going to do this far ahead.Another consideration is daylight. Britain is a long way north of the equator so there is great variance in daylight hours. In June it goes dark for a short time each night, while in December it is dark most of the time. In Edinburgh for instance, the sun rises at 04:25 at the summer solstice and sets at 22:05 (and it stays light for a good hour or so after that), but at the winter solstice the sun rises at 08:45 and sets at 15:40. If you plan to engage in outdoor activities you want to come in summer to maximise your time.Sunrise and sunset times in EdinburghHaving said all that, my favourite time is late September and early October. It is my personal observation that the weather is more settled at that time of year than any other, and that you are more likely to enjoy clear, sunny days with less wind, and fewer unexpected showers. You also gain the benefit of the early autumn colours. Don't come in August, though. August is frustrating and disappointing in equal measure because of holiday traffic, overcrowded and overpriced tourist destinations, and notoriously unpredictable weather. Anyone who can gets as far away from Britain as possible in August.

What is the best month to visit Charleston, South Carolina?

April. Not just my opinion, but the late tv journalist Charles Kuralt's opinion (CBS) as well.Walk up Queen Street early in the morning if you can.Avoid the Market area except for the Confederate Museum at the head of it ( up a big flight of stairs) facing Meeting Street ($5 admission). The Old Exchange Bldg facing Broad Street hosted Washington once and has a jail open to visitors where some famous pirates were housed for a time, including female ones!Few explore Magnolia Cemetery just north two miles or so from the historic area. It is pure, Old Charleston and the crypts are ornate and haunting. All the old families are buried there for the most part, and many Civil War dead, including the Hunley submarine crew.Jestines has authentic soul food. Expect a line.My own grandparents were married in Wragg Square ( circa 1909 - he worked for the railroad and she made hats on King Street). It was then a restaurant and called "The Primerose Inn".PS This from a bestseller in 1997, Mrs Whaley and Her Charleston Garden:"The last week in April and the first in May are the most beautiful time in Charleston. The jasmine is blooming and so are the roses and the oleander. The parkinsonia too…. During those two weeks the whole city is a garden. My mother used to say that Charleston in May is like an exquisite young bride."

Is getting married during law school a bad idea?

As a lawyer who was married with one child at the beginning of law school, I will tell you that you should NOT get married before law school. Law school is going to change you in many ways. The Governor of Minnesota compares going to lawschool to Mark Twain's reaction to becoming a riverboat captain. Before learning to be a captain, Twain loves the innocent beauty of the Mississippi. After becoming a captain, the innocence was gone. Twain could no longer see the beauty of the river because he was, instead, looking for the problems to avoid: sand bars, shallow water, rough water, etc. Learning to think like a lawyer will do that to you, but about life in general. You'll see a puddle on the floor of a supermarket and you'll immediately have the impulse to tell the store management about it, for example.

Your spouse will not be going through law school with you so he will not understand your changing perspective of the world. He might not be sympathetic to your need to study all the time until you figure out how to do well without studying all the time. The new friendships that you make during law school might be hard for your man to relate with because he's not a lawyer. You are going to enter a period of intense change. It will be difficult on your relationship.

Plus, getting married is a huge step that will also change your life. Doing both law school and being a newlywed at the same time will make it even more difficult.

All of that being said, people do it all the time and about half of them are just fine. Take that for what it's worth.
