Best Way To Get Rid Of Pinworms

How do I get rid of pinworms?

You don't know how much I love you for providing one of the best answers ever~! Where do you get spermicide, though?

The way I got rid of the worms in my colon was by drinking (Suprise!)coffee. For me, it's basically a laxative that makes me defecate EVERYTHING! Unlike your typical laxatives, the stools aren't nearly as "wet" so the thickness actually helps trap the worms and allows you to poop them all out. I drank coffee everyday for about a week, so the worms eventually cleared out. The occasional worm from my vagina moves back into my colon every now and then, so coffee is really, really helpful. Is there anything you know of that helps you poop relatively moist stools?

Another thing that helps is drinking watered down white vinegar and bathing with epsom salts. Vinegar helps you poo and destroys eggs and things while epsom salts draw out the worms and cause them to drown. It's very uncomfortable bathing for the first few days due to the intensive amount of activity, but it will eventually get better. You'll even see their proof of existence in the bath water~!

Applying Aces Sports Tape on my anus at night also helps me deal with the worms . It not only captures the worms/eggs, but it also feels SO much better without them popping in and out. Unlike most people, I feel the squirming of the worms themselves rather than their itchy secretions. If you have the same problem as I do, you should get some form of medical tape because it makes life much easier on you. Aces makes the best tape, so I'd suggest that you get some.

How can I get rid of pinworms in cats?

You need to take the cat to the vet and have an appropriate treatment prescribed right away. Any kind of worms will be debilitating for the cat and may lead to other illnesses. You also need to wash your hands thoroughly after handing the cat, and wash any bedding the cat may have contaminated.

How to get rid of pinworms?

Yes, getting tablets and medicine from your local clinic for pin-worms is the most effective way of getting rid of them. However they may come back because of either not washing your hands regularly, or having the perfect diet that lets them survive or come back.

usually when I person recieves medication for pinworms, the pinworms die, but the eggs may still remain and they may hatch if the conditions and food they can reach are available. So if you want to get rid of pinworms, lower your sugar consumption as low as you possibly can. If your body is asking for sugar (you naturally need it) consume fruits instead of sweets or sugar you can buy from the shop. If you put sugar in your tea or coffee, put honey instead, or simply put small amounts of sugar in your tea. Avoid fruits like melon, water melon, bannanas and grapes because they contain that sugar pinworms can live off. You can ofcourse consume these fruits if you want, but don't eat them regularly because pinworms will feed off the left over sugar in the faeces and they will survive and lay more eggs.

To also naturally kill off and prevent pinworms, you should consume generous amounts of garlic. Natural garlic or cloves with some bread to make it taste better.

You should regularly wash your hands, and if it itches down there (which is usually at night) do not itch your anal area because you WILL get microscopic pinworm eggs under your nails or other hard-to-get places. If you do follow these suggestions you should be able to tackle pinworms. If they still come up, you are probably ingesting pinworm eggs through someone else who has them, and you can get them through sexual intercourse too.

Can drinking beer get rid of pin worms?

How to get rid of pinworms in vagina!!?

You definitely need to have a doctor check you out and to make sure you get the right medicine. I had worms at 12 and I remember that we all had to take a red pill once. But I also was anemic from them and you should make sure you aren't too. Good luck!

Medical Treatment:
•albendazole (Albenza) is the most common treatment for pinworms.

◦Treatment is a single tablet, which kills the worms. There are different strengths for adults and children younger than two years of age.

◦Because eggs can survive for a few weeks, the patient will have to take a second dose two weeks later to lessen the chance of reinfection.

◦mebendazole (Vermox) also works. It is also taken in a single dose and repeated two weeks later.

•Because it is common for everyone in a household to have pinworms at the same time, the doctor may recommend that everyone be treated at the same time.

•The doctor may also recommend tap water enemas to help flush out the pinworms and reduce symptoms.

•After taking the pills, the patient should also do the following:

◦Get into the habit of carefully washing the hands after using the toilet, and before and after eating.

◦Thoroughly launder all bedding, clothing, and toys to destroy any lingering eggs.

◦Launder all bedding every 3-7 days for three weeks.

◦Wash underwear and pajamas daily for two weeks.

Previously used drugs [pyrantel pamoate (Pin-Rid, Pin-X) and piperazine] are now rarely used due to lower efficacy and a higher frequency of side effects when compared to albendazole (Albenza) or mebendazole (Vermox).

Hoew do you get rid of pin worms?

My goodness, this is the 4th pinworm questions Ive answered tonight. Ok, I am still fighting these little pests. I have a busy household so please take this into consideration (7 of us + 1 dog).

Place a piece of tape on your anal area and inner thigh right when you wake up. They are very tiny so it may look like a tiny piece of lint. The eggs and hopefully a worm (proof) will stick to the tape, take it to your dr. for confirmation (if dr. has not seen one before, this may be difficult). If you see them at night and touch it, they will curl over.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to:

1. wash ur hands before eating or drinking, after using the toilet.
2. Wahs ur cltohes, sheets, blankets in hot water and place in dryer or hang on clothes line in sun for 2 hrs+.
3. Take a shower in the AM to wash the eggs off so spreading can be reduced.
4. Force ppl to wash hands b4 eating or cooking (despite ur embarrassment).
5. Clean tubs, toilet, bathroom floor(do not us e a broom, eggs become airborne--too small to see).
6. vacume often daily to control spreading and reinfection. Vacume mattresses before placing sheets back on. Vacume out your care too esp w/children.
7. DO NOT SCRATCH ur bottom or private parts b/c it does stick to nails and difficult to clean off even with antibacterial soap and brush.
8. get new toothbrush and protect from becoming infective.

PINWORMS CAN BE ON WALLS, FLOOR, FURNITURE, BEDS, TOWELS, CARS, everywhere the infected touches. The eggs can only live for up to 2 weeks outside of the body, 13 days in the nose (yes you can inhale the eggs), and takes up to a month to hatch to start cycle again. It is important to take the second or even third dose.

My family is on the 4th dose and despite my thorough cleaning and eating on paper plates, sometimes using medical gloves when using fingers esp when cooking--we still have the symptoms and see lint like things in our beds in the morning.

Best of luck. Taking Vermox is the best medication to rid of these pests. I hope u do not have a bad infestation as we apparently did.

What are some good ways to get rid of intestinal worms?

There are many different types of 'intestinal worms'. The most common of these tend to be threadworms. Anthelmintics are effective in threadworm infections, but their use needs to be combined with hygienic measures to break the cycle of auto-infection. All members of the family require treatment.Adult threadworms do not live for longer than 6 weeks and for development of fresh worms, ova must be swallowed and exposed to the action of digestive juices in the upper intestinal tract. Direct multiplication of worms does not take place in the large bowel. Adult female worms lay ova on the perianal skin which causes pruritus; scratching the area then leads to ova being transmitted on fingers to the mouth, often via food eaten with unwashed hands. Washing hands and scrubbing nails before each meal and after each visit to the toilet is essential. A bath taken immediately after rising will remove ova laid during the night.Mebendazole is the drug of choice for treating threadworm infection in patients of all ages over 2 years. It is given as a single dose; as reinfection is very common, a second dose may be given after 2 weeks. In certain areas, tapeworm is a common infestation, drug therapy for this may take the form of niclosamide in association with an anti-sickness drug and a laxative.Prevention tends to be better than cure and avoiding the known vectors and cooking meat thoroughly will reduce the risk of infestation.Mebendazole is also used for Ascarides and for hookworm,Generally speaking, good hygiene, boiling possibly contaminated water and cooking meat and fish thoroughly are vital.

Can drinking a beer get rid of pin worms in kids?

Pinworms itch only at the rectal area. And no, beer doesn't do a thing for it. Neither will garlic supplements.

You fitst have to identify if your kids have any parasite problems. This means taking a poop sample in a zip lock baggie to ANY clinic and having them do a fecal smear. If they find worms, then you just go to your local pharmacist for the meds you need, there's probably over the counter stuff.
