Best Way To Make Best Of Wireless For Ps3

What is the best wireless router for my PS3 and does it have a built in wi-fi?

If you have a pc without wifi that must be a desktop pc, well you could do it these ways.

1. Get a large LAN cable and connect your ps3 to the router (wired), this way you save money but you really cant move the console without moving the cable.
2. Get a cheap 802.11g router that may serve you good later, and connect it without pain and its easy to move around the house. I got my wifi router for 30 dollars so it doesn't need to be expensive.

But it really depends but I would go with wifi simply bc you need it later to maybe connect your laptop or you could get a usb wifi dongle and make your desktop connect wireless to the internet.

How do you connect a PS3 Controller Wireless?

Any PS3 controllers can operate wirelessly, but they first must be charged up. Did you plug them up to the PS3 via the USB cable and charge them for awhile?

After that, just push the PS button on the center of the controller, it should start connecting. You can tell if it does by it the light comes on on the top left side of the controller, it should blink for a moment, then stay on.

If you haven't formatted and set up the controller to work with you system, then just read the Owner's Manual, it gives you step by step instructions!

Witch ps3 controller is best for me?

This may not answer the question but in firmware 3.50 sony have banned allot of controllers or as they call it counterfeit controllers. Now why is this so important well if you buy a controller that sony haven't made and if it will not work with the ps3, then its not the controllers fault but sony`s greed. To make this story short buy the official controller that way your secure from all the future stupid stuff.

Ps3 wont connect to the wireless internet at this best western hotel!!!!!!!!!!?

Ok so I'm stuck in this best western carrage house inn hotel in lame *** price utah! The hotel says it has free wireless internet but everytime I try to connect my ps3 to the inernet it says a connect to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the wireless LAN. Wtf?! And the security says its open on the pst and my cell connected to it so help!!! Plz!!!!!

I have a wireless Bluetooth earpiece that can be used for phones or a PS3. But some reason it doesn't work out for PS4. So how do I fix it or what is the cheapest wireless mic for the PS4?

The PS4 only connects to Sony's Bluetooth devices or Sony's approved devices. Headsets, headphones, etc. When I searched online for cheapest wireless mic for the PS4 the only things that turned up was cheap, plastic mics. But I found a really great headset. K1-B Gaming Headset 3.5mm Jack it's wired but it feels like a super professional headset for only about 20$! I have it too and it is pretty great. If you really want a great Bluetooth mic they won't be so cheap and as good as wired though.

What is the best way to charge a PS3 controller?

With the USB cable that comes with the console. Plug it into an open USB port in your console and connect the other end to your DualShock3 (or Sixaxis if you have one of the first consoles released).Another way would be to use an officially licensed charging station. I don’t normally trust the 3rd party manufactured ones due to bad experiences in the past. Now I use only official Sony licensed accesories.Either way you choose, those are the best options in my opinion.

How do I improve WiFi strength for PS3?

Nothing to do on the PS3 side without hardware mods, other than optimizing the placement of the console, the access point, or both.Make sure that there is a minimum of interfering items between the PS3 and the router. This includes surrounding electronics, RF insulating objects and similar.Place your access point in a frequently used area that has largely no walls between common access zones. This should be on your main floor in a central area.

Is Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router Good to use with PS3 Online?

The WRT54G series routers are solid proven routers. They're easy to setup and last a long time (I've been running mine for 3+ years.)

The range of your router will mostly depend upon how many walls the signal needs to go through as well as what the walls are made of. While it's true that N routers have greater range than G routers, most home users will be just fine with G. It is completely untrue that N will give you a faster internet connection than G. G transfers data between 2 and 10 times faster than a broadband internet connection (Comcast and FIOS included.) Doubling your wireless connection speed, by going to N, will just make your home network 2 to 20 times faster than your internet, which isn't really practical for most home applications.

If you check facts you'll see than wireless G technology's range is a little under 40 meters. N is closer to 70m. But that's going to drop fast if you try to put the router 2 floors away from your PS3. In fact, G probably won't work for you if you place the router and the PS3 2 floors apart and they aren't directly above/below each other. In that case, an N capable router would work. You should also keep in mind that the actual range and transfer speeds you get with G technology will be reduced by wireless phones that operate at 2.4Ghz (most moderately new wireless phones.) Of course, you can try Walmart's router and if it doesn't work well, return it and get a model capable of N.
