Watch HereThis is not the worst remake in film history. I have never understood the idea of a remake at all. If a film, like "Battle Royale", is so good to start with why on earth do you want to try and improve on it? If you insist on tampering with perfection, why then do you have to try to recreate it in it's whole? There is nothing original here. Francis Lawrence put nothing of himself into this film.They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, but this is ridiculous. There are a lot of sides to a parable as complex as Battle Royale II, and I suspect that Francis Lawrence may have wanted to explore them. Instead the studio forced him into sticking to a cheap imitation of the popular Japanese classic. Tatsuya Fujiwara turned in a performance that lead to one of the most memorable characters in film history and it would have been impossible for any actor, no matter how good to recreate that. The rest of the characters are stuck just as tight to similarly wooden imitations of the originals. It is almost painful to watch very talented actors (namely Donald Sutherland) have that talent stifled.In the end, Francis Lawrence set out to pay homage to a great film. Katniss, after winning the games, returns home to District 12, but her stay is short lived, as 6 months later the victory tour begins. During the tour she notices some civil unrest, which president Snow told her to try and quell, after she had a controversial victory in the hunger games. Shortly after she comes back, she hears about an uprising in 8, and that the 3rd Quarter Quell involves reaping the tributes from previous victors.Being 12's only living female tribute, she goes back into the arena with Peeta. Little to their knowledge however, a the rebels plot to break Katniss out, since she's become the face of the rebellion. The arena is deadly, and attacks happen like clockwork.She is in an alliance, in order to protect her and break her out, but she's doesn't know this is the reason. The force field is brought down by an electrified arrow, and a hovercraft from the forgotten and destroyed Dkstrkct 13 whisks her and some other Tributes to safety. In the trip she learns two dreadful things, Peets got captured by the Capital, and District 12 has been burnt to the ground.

What's better the hunger games movie or book ?
Definitely the books, the movie missed a lot of the content of the book. They were severely lacking character development between a lot of the character. The emotional in depth story between Peeta and Katniss in the cave was hardly there, and you never get to see what Katniss really thinks, I mean if you haven't read the books you probably would've thought that Katniss was actually in love with Peeta. And Katniss could find water straight away and she didn't set any traps, so you kind of lose the gritty 'survival' aspect of the story, which makes it seems a lot shorter than it actually was. The deaths of everyone seemed really rushed, less emotional and less savage, people didn't really know or find out the importance of mockingjay but I think it was a good thing that Prim gave her the pin because it strengthens their bond as sisters and Madge wasn't that important anyway. All in all the film was good, but if I didn't read the books I probably would've enjoyed it better because there are no expectations.

Is Mockingjay Part 1 the best Hunger Games movie so far? Why or why not?
In my opinion, it is the worst one compare to the previous. There are just a little bit of exciting scenes such as the workers climb up the tree and the people blow up the dam. Another scenes are just talking, talking and talking. If the audience do not have read the novel, they don't understand what the movie is talking about. Besides, the audience (such as my friends) cannot recognise who is Gale, who is Beetle etc. And in my friend's word, waste money to watch this.
