Best Website To Learn Korean

What website is the best to learn korean?

it obviously depends on how you like to learn and how much you already know bt here are some websites that really helped me.

http://www.genkienglish.net/speakkorean/
this site is very good for getting started, learning hangul and hints and tips for learning. it has a fun approach to learning and does as a learning by mistake technique (which suited me well). although you may not think this is very effective to start with im usre that you will rember the stuff of this easy.
the only problem though is that its material is quite limited, but its definately good as a beginner site :)

http://www.byki.com
this is good to expnad your vocabulary a bit more and get you used to reading and typing hangul characters. it also lets you learn and remember things well without actually realising, but incase you feel you have forgotten you can always get byki to refresh words that you have learnt.
although it comes with word lists preinstalled you can alos get them from the website :)

btw...
rember to learn it in full screen otherwise you cant see all of the hangul.
also if you download more lists dont forget to press run otherwise it wont convert to a byki file.
i suggest that u download it as it is free :) just say no to upgrading unless you want to pay.

i also used this site. you work through it (make sure that you click on all the tabs and extra pages tho). i found it was quite good at explainging things but didnt neccessarily stick in my head that much, that is why i use a combination of sites.

anyway~ good luck with you learning~!!

oh and if you dont find any of these suit you here is a site with a list of sites for learning korean for free :)

What's the best site to learn Korean?

If you’ve yet to learn hangeul, I would recommend the Seoul National University’s guide on both vowels, consonants, consonant blocks and rules of pronunciation (it comes with some exercises too!)Once you’ve done this, I recommend installing this app to your phone to practice the stroke order/reading/etc. more to better your hangeul skills! It’s easy to use and it didn’t consume much of my phone’s battery. It’s an android app, so I’m unsure if it is available for others! After you’ve learned to read and write, go to TALK TO ME IN KOREAN. It’s the best curriculum out there, in my humble opinion. It has 9 levels, starting from the very basics. There are PDF files and AUDIO recordings which I believe are a must because you get to hear two native Korean speakers explain to you, in fluent English, the rules and nuances of the Korean grammar/semantics/etc. You can also buy their books, and subscribe to their YouTube channel for more content!Good (android) apps for more Korean learning are:Infinite Korean (my favourite app! It’s basic level but teaches you a lot of vocabulary: colours, animals, fruits, vegetables, meals and similar. You play it in levels of difficulty and it’s ridiculously engaging!)Learn Korean (this one eats my battery more than others and it’s daily notifications with new expressions tend to annoy me; it’s romanisation is rather faulty so you should lean on this app only once you’ve mastered hangeul; despite the shortcomings, it has a good register of many Korean expressions, consisting of mostly advanced vocabulary/idioms/sentences)I hope these will help! Enjoy your Korean study! ^^/

What are the best online websites to learn Korean (for a native English speaker)?

TalktomeinKorean has the best online courses for English native speakers. They have videos, live talks, ebooks - some free some not - for learners of all levels, workbooks, audio lessons, and even games and flashcards if you use their free smartphone app.Besides, they also teach you Korean culture and the latest trends and social issues in Korea - which is the best part to me.You can search them up on Youtube, or go directly to their website talktomeinkorean.com.I’ve been following them for 3 years now since I started learning Korean.Good luck!
