Why does my Betta wedge himself between his plastic plants?
Well, first of all, you should never ever EVER keep bettas in a tank with plastic plants. They like to rest and hide in the plants, and the plastic will rip their delicate fins. It can also gouge holes in their bodies. This leaves them open to infection and places a lot of stress on the fish. He's just trying to hide, as bettas often do, but chances are he'll end up getting injured or even die because of the plastic plants. Get silk or live ones. It would be better to have no plants than plastic plants, and you can use a small flower pot for him to hide in if you can't afford new plants.
Betta keeps wedging self in tight places?
I have a female beta fish that's about half a year old and just today she started wedging herself between ornaments and not moving till I get worried move the ornament, then she goes and finds another tight spot. I've had her in a 10 gallon tank with mollies for about 4 months and they get along fine, but one molly gave birth to 23 babies and their getting pretty big now and I don't know what to do with them. Is my betta feeling overcrowded? Or might it be an infection like Ich? She looks like she has a white spot on her lip. What do I do with all these babies?

Where can i buy red betta fish cheap?
Why do you need 15? Where do you plan on keeping them? Bettas cannot be kept together and will need to have seperate living spaces. Judging by the number and color preference, this sounds like one of those "I'm going to put fish in vases for my wedding/grad/living room/ birthday party". Please remember that in order to live healthily, your betta will need a minimum 2.5 gallon tank with heater and filter. These will run you at least 20$ a pop-- if you find it second hand-- they typically go around 35-50 at many petstores. Before you buy 15 bettas for whatever purpose you have for them, think about where they will go afterwards. Keeping bettas in small unheated/filtered vases, although convenient , is cruel, and they won't last long. Furthermore, if you plan on keeping them in small bowls, you will have to do water changes VERY frequently. Its not worth the trouble. Don't expect your guests to be clamoring to take home a fish. By the end of the night it will have pooped all over the water making it very unappealing, so be prepared for LOTS of unwanted fish with no where to live.-- you can then either kill them all or look into getting tanks for each one. Thats about 500$ , if you go for the cheapest aquarium at petco. Do yourself and 15 little fish a favour and rethink.
What other fish can a male betta live with?
I'm getting an aquafarm, and I'm def. gonna get a male betta. but i also want an african dwarf frog and a snail, could it live with those or would it kill them??? if not, what could it live with?
Which place is a must-visit in Mysore?
There are several places you must visit in Mysore. The list will be long and never ending. But, let me tell you my favorite, which i think is a must-visit place in my opinion.Chammundi hills during dusk in winter (especially during dasara): There is a hill range in Mysore city called chamundi hills. This is a phenomenon in itself.. It is believed that Goddess chamundashwari (form of goddess shakti) killed Mahishasura who was the king of Mysore, the dead body of Mahishasura became a hill and Chamundeshwari on top of it.But, of course my reason is not this myth.. in cold winter, the breeze on chamundi hills will be high and the city will be illuminated beautifully (some describe as a bride who has been dressed for her wedding) with Mysore palace in the focal point of view from hill.Above picture is Myore Palace during Dasara (PC: Arun Divakar)This is the view I was talking about.. You should be on top of the hill before 6.30 PM (the dusk) and wait patiently for half an hour.. Till 6.59pm the view will be dark with only street lights.. But, at 7.00 PM sharp.. with the flip of a switch, the city will be fully decorated with illumination. It will give you goosebumps when you look at it.. its a WOW!! feeling… (Both before and after is attached above)The Mysore city will be decorated with illumination like a bride who is about to get married.. You get to watch this sitting peacefully in the cold breeze on top of the hill pondering and appreciating the beauty of this little heaven called MYSURU!!!!We Mysoreans who now live in Bangalore say, Mysore is not a destination but, it is a feeling / expression of heaven.. Writing this answer, gave me so much of nostalgia, i very badly want to go and sit in the spot on top of that hill and keep watching my town live and inspire tens of thousands of us with is charm and mesmerism.Please don’t miss this.. its a feeling worth remembering..
