Biology What Plant Hormone Would Be Used In The Following Circumstance

How do I study biology for NEET and AIIMS?

Score 360/ 360 in NEET Biology.Follow the schedule given by Crash Course and you can secure a minimum of 300+ marks in NEET Biology.I have laid down all the important aspects outside NCERT + all the content of NCERT with proper illustrations. For example : A few slides of the digestive system lectureMy lectures are designed in such a manner that it saves a lot of time. For instance we can complete a chapter like excretory system in merely 2 hours.Students need to follow a simple drill to score good marks in NEET Biology.Lecture + NCERT Extract ( Will be made available in form of podcast too ) + Practice paper assigned ( 90 questions Daily ) + Minor and Major Test series ( A total of 24 tests held every alternate day. Video solution will be provided for the same which will be a revision booster ).You only need to devote 4.5 hrs daily for biology and this includes your lecture time also.Free Live streaming session will begin from 17th March 2019.We will take a total of 100 registrations. In order to sign up kindly send the following details on Anand.mani1611@gmail.comYour Name, Contact Number and City. The schedule will be notified to you on 1st of March on the given contact number. The entire course is free of cost. All I expect is for you to follow the given schedule honestly.Best of Luck.Edit :- Students who have already send the mail once don't need to send it again.Thank you for the overwhelming response.Score 360 / 360 in NEET Biology ( 45 Day Plan )Edit 2 : - Please note that in order to incorporate more students we have to create a separate test portal with individual dash board. The test series is payable for a price of RS 1500.The lectures are still free of cost.

3.Your body is filled with many types of proteins. Each type has a distinctive sequence of amino acids which determines both its specialized ___________ and its unique ___________.

A.number, weight
B.length, mass
C.structure, function
D.charge, pH

4.A peptide bond forms

A.by the removal of a water molecule.
B.by a dehydration reaction.
C.between two amino acids.
D.All of these.

5.Nucleic acids

A.are the energy source for our bodies.
B.act on other molecules, breaking them apart or building new ones, to help us function.
C.are only found in a few, specialized locations within the body.
D.are information storage devices found in every cell in the body.

6.The two strands of a DNA molecule are held together through hydrogen bonds between nucleotide bases. Which of the following best describes this base pairing?

A.Adenine forms hydrogen bonds with thymine.
B.Adenine forms hydrogen bonds with uracil.
C.Cytosine forms hydrogen bonds with thymine.
D.Guanine forms hydrogen bonds with adenine.

7.Carbohydrates are used for

B.information storage.
C.fat storage and for hair.
D.hormones and for enzymes.

8.Which of the following carbohydrates is not found in plants?

A.glycogen
B.cellulose
C.starch

I have a question about fats that has to do with biology?

Afair few answers but not a lot of knowledge on display in these answers?
In question 1; the item that contains fats that would have at least one double bond in their carbon skeleton: animal fats tend to be more highly saturated, and the level of saturation directly affects the fat melting point. Animal fats usually need to get above room temp to liquify; plant fats have more double bonds and have lower melting points are are so described as oils. Peanut oil would therefore definitely have at least one double bond in it's fat(oil) chains. Margarine starts life as plant oil but the double bonds are broken by the artificial addition of hydrogen (heating the oil with Hydrogen gas bubbling through it in the presence of a catalyst) and so many of the double bonds in the carbon chains become single bonds, and so the melting point rises until it is semsolid at room temperature. You wouldn't be able to guarantee all the carbon chains had at least one double bond under those circumstances, so you could notrely on b) margarine being the best answer - only a) peanuts, which would contain the orinial unadulterated peanut oil, would guarantee that, so I would go for a)
The second question is simple for a biologist - cell membranes are made of phospholipids and cholesterol (plus proteins and a few other bits) but c) is the best answer. a) is wrong - phospholipids are carbon chain based and so cann't be steroids which are carbon ring based (cholesterol is the carbon ring based molecule from which other steroid s are made) ; b) is nonsense as human sex hormones won't always be in these substances; and d) is only true for phospholipids not cholesterol.

Biology study guide help please?
