HOW FUN! At a party store get some plastic champagne glasses, confetti, hats, noise horns. Cut 2008 out of a giant cardboard box, paint it and glue glitter all over it! You can even add Christmas lights. Make a giant paper mache ball shaped pinata ..paint it silver and cover it in silver glitter. have your mom lower it close to midnight and break it open at midnight...(fill it with cheapie lip glosses, nail polishes, candies, girlie stuff) Serve Gingerale at midnight. Do a home dance party/karaoke. Turn on "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve" and turn off the sound..have the girls lipsync to who ever is on tv...can be funny to hear your friend Jessica's voice coming out of Daultry's head. Play pictionary. Pass out Pink (or whatever your favorite color is) pieces of cardstock before your birthday. Have each friend type on their their new years resolution. you can guess whos is whose at the party. make some fortune cookies with silly fortunes in them.."this year you will date triplets" "you will get the summer job of your dreams this year....cleaning yak poop from their fur" whatever you and your friends would find funny. finally...make a time capsule with your friends to opened on another birthday...next years? or your 21st? with todays news..what boy you all like...what is your favorite this and that...what you see for your future...etc.... can be fun to see in six years that you thought you would DIE if christopher didn't ask you out..and you can't remember who christopher is any more. or...maybe he is your main squeeze by then..or his brother..lol. have fun..and happy birthday!

What are some good ideas for a birthday party for a 10 year old girl?
Some ideas based on parties my 10 year old wants and parties that she's been to, in no particular order:1) Horse back riding party (local stable offers this - trail ride and then party to have cake/snacks)2) Ice skating (local rink offers this and a private room for the party)3) Roller skating party (like ice skating, but roller skating rinks are getting harder to find)4) Fused art party (local art studio offers this, you get a square of glass, and glue bits of colored glass to the glass, the studio melts the object into a piece of art)5) Karate party - kids learn some moves and then the party (a friend of my daughter's offered this, since she's working towards a black belt)6) Pottery decorating party (like the fused art but glaze pottery, which then gets fired)7) Bowling party8) Miniature golf party9) At home party (we actually did this for my daughter's ninth birthday and it's what she asked for). We set up stations for popcorn (popcorn machine), cotton candy (you can rent a machine), backyard trampoline (we have this since our daughter used to do gymnastics), and we hired a balloon artist. Note, this wasn't just any balloon artist. She did the most sophisticated balloon animals any of the kids had ever seen, and was the total hit of the party. She also did glitter tattoos for the kids, which was what my daughter originally wanted, but she loved the balloons more. For a special balloon the artist made this type of pot of gold for my daughter

Even though my 15th birthday is two months, I'm starting to think about what I should do (I always plan ahead on stuff). I'm not sure if I should even have a party. None of my friends really have birthday parties anymore, but it would just seem kind of lonely to be alone on my birthday. Especially since I'm an only child. I've had a party every year but I don't want it to be like a little kid party. I want something cool. I also have no idea how many people to invite and I think my best friend will be a few states away visting her godfather for the summer :(. Not to mention the fact that I have a smallish house to with an unfinished basement. Please help?

i'm turning 15 and i plan on having a party on my birthday since it's on a saturday and all my friends are at home, not on vacation. so, i plan on inviting around 10 girls. we all live in new york, but in different boroughs so it'll be best if it was in manhattan since everyone could get there. i was thinking maybe eating at a restaurant, watching a movie, going to chelsea piers, going to dave & busters, or watching a broadway show [which is kind of a stretch since it'll cost a lotttt] so ideas please? i've already had my birthday at my house so that's out.
