Black Vs Blue Chapstick

Can you put chapstick on a fresh tattoo?

Thanks for the answers. I looked at the ingredients and it was basicly just vaseline and wax so I thought i'd try.
Looks like i'm just going to keep putting water on it incrementally.

What does "original" (black) and "moisturizer" (blue) ChapStick smell like?

A bit like rose and lilac.

Is it okay to eat chapstick?

it's okay, try kiwi strawberry it's amazing, i have a dog that eats yellow and blue crayons, only yellow and blue though, her poop is purple after wards, maybe i should get her on glue sticks, have a great day.

Chapstick or Carmex or other lip balm?

I have carmex, chapstick and a few other kinds (Dasani makes a good one but its more of a gloss). I just kinda throw them in my purse or in a drawer, so whatever i pull out is what i use... i like it all

Is chapped lips a side effect of the Blue ChapStick-Moisturizer?

I use the ChapStick brand of chapsticks, usually the original one or the red one (forgot the flavor).
Recently, I bought a 3-pack of the blue moisturizer chapstick, and my lips have become more chapped ever since I went through the first stick. It's been about 2 months I'm in the middle of the second one right now, and there are black patches that are starting to appear on my top lip. They're really smooth and dry and crack easily.
It feels like there's tape placed over that area and I can't feel the skin underneath it. And it's quite painful too......

So has anyone experienced this before? I've stopped using that chapstick and use vaseline instead, but I'm not very fond of vaseline.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get rid of the spots? Or what to do about them?

Does chapstick screw up scantrons?

I heard that if you roll chapstick on top of the black bars next on the side of the scantron (the part that goes through the machine and gets graded or whatever), everything is marked as correct. Has anyone ever tried it and is it true?

Is putting lotion on your lips the same as using chapstick?

Chapstick is used as a moisture barrier. It's a wax that is surface only, no penetration into the lips. Vaseline acts the same way except it's a pertrol product. Will not penetrate. Lotion that is for the skin has a different purpose than Chapstick.Items for lips will have a very different flavour than a lotion will.If you hydrate your lips and then apply a waxier type balm, it can help hold in what you replenished and further damage. I personally never recommend Chapstick. I find it causes more moisture issues than it helps. Putting it on will also stop saliva from wetting the lips, so only use if you are protecting from scaling and open red lips and just below lips.Myself, I use Palmer's cocoa butter on my entire body, including my lips. No taste and it seems to keep formula for long time without breaking and melting away. I have been using it for 20+ year's and have no issues.Lips are an extension of skin, being more delicate. You need to exfoliate and rehydrate then seal in the moisture. Using olive oil, peanut oil and coconut oil, helps many and they are edible, so you don't get a perfume type taste in your mouth.

If I dye my hair blue, will it still grow back in its natural color (black)?

Yes, your hair will always grow out from your scalp in the same naturally produced color. Dyes only affect the parts of the hair that are exposed at the time the hair is dyed.Quick primer on dyeing your hair a non-natural type color for the first time:1. BleachingIf you want to dye your hair blue and your hair is currently black, you will need to bleach your hair before applying the blue color. Otherwise, it will only barely add a hint of the shade and won’t be visibly blue. Bleach completely and permanently removes your color from the parts of the hair it is applied to. Bleach is also really, really easy to mess up and it can do a lot of damage to your hair. I recommend going to a professional for help with this part, even if you want to do the dye part at home.2. DyeingAfter bleaching, you will apply the blue dye, which is almost always semi-permanent and fades a bit each time you wash it. Semi-permanent dyes usually wash out completely in about a month, but sometimes they can stain light and bleached hair permanently and require a special color stripping product to remove. The actual dyeing part is pretty easy, but make sure you do it in old clothes, wear gloves, and cover any surfaces you don’t want stained. It also helps if you apply a substance to your skin around your hair line to act as a barrier to stains— I use Vaseline/petroleum jelly, but anything that’s sort of water-resistant and waxy probably works. In a pinch, I’ve used chapstick.3. MaintenanceBecause your blue hair will fade quickly, you will probably have to add more dye regularly (weekly or even every time you wash it) to maintain the color. There are quite a few products that are good for bright color maintenance. You’ll want to use a very mild shampoo, and you will probably need a deep conditioner to deal with the dryness from the bleach. I like using a conditioner or cleansing conditioner with dye in it— there’s several good options on Amazon in a variety of colors, or you can make your own. Even so, to protect your color you’ll probably want to wash your hair less often and avoid swimming/submerging your hair in water when possible.

Whats the difference between lipstick, lip balm, chapstick and lip gloss?????

Lipstick is usually an opaque (not see-through) colour...although some of them can be somewhat sheer. Lipsticks can be matte, shimmery or sparkly. Lip balm has ingredients to soothe, heal and protect lips...it usually has no colour, but some of them have some shimmer or a light tint. Lip balms are the most likely to be scented. Chapstick is lipbalm..its just a name brand. Glosses make your lips shiny...they can sometimes be coloured, or have some shimmer or sparkle in them, and they too can be scented. There are also lip tints or stains, which you put on bare lips, and they will stain your lips that colour for a long time. Lip-liner is another one...its usually used under lip-stick or gloss to prevent it from leaking off lips, and to make it stay on longer. Lipstick is best for colour that makes a bold statement...your lips will be the standout feature. Tints are good for long-wearing colour that looks more natural. Glosses are the best to make your lips look juicier and somewhat bigger...they are also good if you prefer to paly up your eyes, but still want your lips to look made up. Lip balms are the best if you just want natural lips, but also want the moisture. Balms are also the best bet for activity...such as soccer, skiing, anything like that, because they often contain sunscreen and other ingredients to protect your lips from sun and wind damage.

How do I get rid of dark (black) lips due to smoking marijuana?

As a woman of colour (and daily cannabis smoker) I think I'm more than familiar with this lip thing. It can be annoying and unsightly, I haven't found a permanent solution to this yet BUT a few tips that help and definitely keep the problem at bay if you keep doing them:Exfoliate your lips regularly. Dead skin is only holding that excess pigmentation to your lips..plus dead skin and dry skin tend to appear darker as it gives off a sallow and dull appearance. Which brings me to my next point…Moisturise your lips! Dry and dehydrated lips look darker and wrinklier too..Rehydrate from the inside! Drink water etc because as I said, dehydration doesn't make skin look great, this includes lips!DON’T smoke further than you need to…a lot of us all smoke right down to the roach. But, that burning/hot sensation that is worse right at the end? Not doing good things for your lips. That is my personal reminder, at this point I stop smoking OR if I'm smoking alone, I use my teeth to hold the joint or make some kind of strange mouth shape that basically helps to avoid the outside part of my lips touching the joint (or burning hot filter, in my case)Finally, if it really bothers you, you could start vaping your cannabis or injesting it instead, leaving blunts and joints for weekends or just less often. I never get darkening when I do that so I’m putting the darkening down to tobacco from joints and blunts (This is assuming you smoke joints and/or blunts currently)DIY LIP SCRUB:Brown sugar (I get medium or coarse for good scrubbing!) mixed with lemon juice for natural lightening and honey for softening, moisturising and sticking power. Mix a small amount of these together, apply to clean lips and work in a scrubbing motion. If your lips are extra dark leave the mixture on for 5 minutes then rinse off with warm water and apply your favourite lip moisturiser to your newly smoothed lips.Ps. Puff, puff, pass ;)x
