Bleach Hair/ Loose Tan

If I bleach my hair what damage will it cause? Will the new hair that grows be affected by the bleach?

First of all u hv a nice hair condition. .coloring , bleaching , dyes can affects ur hair sometimes if u do..but its depends bcs sometimes its not..Your scalp will itch. Don't freak out — it's just from the burn. All the tips above will help diminish the itchiness, especially using a lower volume bleach. But if the itching persists weeks after bleaching, go see your derm. It could be less about the burn and more a scalp condition like seborrheic dermatitis, which is generally cleared up with a medicinal shampoo and topical foam.I was find some description so u can get some knowledge about that…Your hair will look puffier and a little cray. Regardless of your natural hair texture, bleach will turn your hair a bit wild. It's okay. It'll calm down. Bleach opens up your cuticle and dries our your strands, which is why it can be puffier and frizzier after dyeing. "Using a PH balancing conditioner after your service can help but there's not a lot you can do but be patient," explains Brittan. In a few weeks, your hair will relax and feel smoother as your cuticle starts to close."Your hair will feel much more dry. Dryness is from that cuticle opening, plus the chemicals in the bleach. You can't really keep your hair from getting dried out. What you can do is wash your hair less than you did before the bleach. Brittan advises 2-3 times per week at the most to let your scalp become a little oily. Washing it too much will only dry out your strands more. You can also use a deep conditioner with keratin for moisture and strengthening. You'll have some breakage. It used to be that double bleach totally destroyed your hair and you had to condition it every day or pieces broke off. But now, there's brands including Olaplex that totally save your strands. Have your hairdresser add Olaplex to the bleach and you'll have way less breakage. "It has completely changed the hair industry when it comes to double bleaching," says Brittan. You should also invest in strengthening conditioner (Olaplex makes one of those, too), and a Wet brush to help with breakage while you're in the shower.Thanku!!!

Should i go tanning after i just bleached my hair?

wait a liiitttle bit, but it should be fine, its just tanning it doesn't really do anything to your hair, just your skin. and as for straightening, its fine as long as you get a heat protectent spray that you put on before you add heat. its like 3 bucks at drugstores :) hope i helped!

Do most girls like blue eyed guys with dark hair and tan skin?

Don't get me wrong, I know that most White guys are ugly, (the pure ones, I like the mixed ones) but the blue eyed ones with dark hair and tan skin are sexy. I have only seen ONE in my whole life, and I live around tons of white people. Is that a combination that all girls like. Like him..

Why does the hair on my body that sees the most sun turn blonde?

Hair is produced from the hair follicles which are burried in the sublayers of the skin. These follicle contain many cells (called as melanocytes) responsible for pigmentation (darkening) of hair. Melanocytes add different forms of melanin molecule (eumelanin and phaeomelanin) into hair to make it darker. This darkening procedure occur independently from the existence of sun. So, the hair is always dark right before it goes out from the follicle. However, when the hair reach the surface of the skin, the hair melanin is degraded by sun light with the reaction called photolysis (break apart). When the melanin is broken apart, your hair lose its dark color. And because hair does not contain any cell (and melanocytes), the lost melanin can not be replenished.

Will my BLONDE hair get lighter in the tanning bed?

If you dad got cancer because of it, then your mom should NOT have bought you unlimited tanning! You should be put of tanning for life.

If you want to lighten your hair without dying/ bleaching it then you need to put pure lemon juice on you hair and then go sit out in the sun; lemon juice is a natural bleach.- see here- http://www.wikihow.com/Bleach-Hair-With-...

Is it true that by going swimming you loose your tan.?

If it comes from a bottle, yes.

Chlorine IS a bleach, so it could theoretically have that effect, but in order for it to do so, it would have to be of such a concentration that you would have serious chemical burns!

Remember, the skin you see is DEAD.
The skin that turns dark due to melanin pigmentation is under the skin you see. However, the UV radiation from the sun causes you to slough-off the surface skin faster, as it dries out, revealing the tan underneath.

Please remember that a deep dark tan is a sign of a serious UV burn, and repeated prolonged tanning has been directly linked to skin cancer as a trigger.

As for water "enhancing" a tan (or helping you tan faster), it doesn't...water is 80x denser than air, and absorbs a heck of alot more UV than air, so you actually receive a lesser dose of UV when swimming. The only reason it seems to make a tan or burn occur faster is because even the "water safe" sunblocks are washed off while swimming - hence the caution to re-apply after swimming, well, that and to sell more sunblock!!! (It's also why many dermatologists will tell you to wear a t-shirt while swimming, for the extra SPF of the shirt on your back and shoulders, which are generally out of the water more than under it.)

How do I remove chlorine skin tan?

If you are a regular swimmer, with passage of time you may develop a tan on your body from chlorine in the water. Chlorine is added to pool water to keep it clean and away from harmful bacteria. If you find your skin to be tanned there is a very simple home remedy. Make a pack of raw milk, gram flour (besan) and turmeric (haldi) and apply it on your body. Keep it for 15 minutes and then wash it with water. You can make this a part of your weekly skincare regimen to remove existing tan and prevent further tanning. If your hair seems to be rough and dry, apply a pack of olive oil, curd and eggs. Apply from roots to tip and cover your head with shower cap. Leave for 30 minutes. Wash off with a mild shampoo. This too can be done weekly. You will have to take a few precautions to protect your body from tanning. As goes the old age saying “precaution is better than cure”. Protecting your hair and skin from ill effects of chlorinated swimming pool water is essential. The precautionary steps are divided into two parts ie., before going for swim and after swim care. Before going for swim:Swimming regularly in chlorinated water may dehydrate the skin. Apply a thick moisturizer on your body and then a good sunscreen with high spf.Your hair also needs some care. Just wearing a cap is not enough. You need to do something more. Apply a few drops of hair oil or hair serum. Chlorinated water can ruin your hair and make them very rough. Hair oil or hair serum will act as a barrier between your hair and chlorine water and lessen the damage to a large extent. After swim care:Do not forget to take a shower as soon as you step out of the swimming pool. Chlorine needs to be washed away.Wash your hair with mild shampoo alternatively between days.Pat dry your skin and apply a moisturizer on damp skin to trap the moisture, dont forget your fingers and toes and the spaces between them.Note: For detailed procedure and instructions to remove sun tan from legs and hands, do check out my youtube channel.
