Bleaching Leg Hair with Hydrogen Peroxide?

My little cousin is only 7 and she shaved once but isn't allowed to start shaving so i would like to know if you could use hydrogen peroxide to bleach leg hair. The hair is thicker, darker, and shiny. So are you able to use homemade bleach to lighten it? What would the damages be, dulling the hair would be good. Also, how could you do it and how do you make the bleach. Obviously, legs can't be bleached at a salon and she isn't allowed to start shaving so no answers along that line please. I just want to know if it will lighten the hair or dull it and not completely damage her skin or severely damage the hair noticeably.

Bleaching arm hair with hydrogen peroxide?

I bought a bottle of hydrogen peroxide for like 60 some cents because I heard it can bleach arm hair. I have dark arm hair, tan skin, and I want to make the hair blondeish. This is the third night I have rubbed on the peroxide, nothing has happened yet. Does it need heat/light to work? Will it only bleach the arm hair and not my skin? Is there a product that works quicker to bleach arm hair? How long will it take for my arm hair to turn light with the hydrogen peroxide?
And NO I will not wax or shave. I just want it bleached.
Thank you!! :)

When you bleach your hair with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, are the results permanent or does the highlight eventually darken back to the hair color?

Hydrogen peroxide will lighten your hair, even when used alone, but it won’t lighten it very much because it’s acidic. Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is alkaline and alkaline peroxide lightens hair more than peroxide alone, but that’s a horrible thing to do to your hair. Hi-lift haircolor is far more effective and less damaging.Your new hair growth will be your natural color, but the lightened hair will not fade back to its original color.

Can hydrogen peroxide be used to bleach upper lip hair?

Hydrogen PeroxideA very simple and easy-to-find treatment you can use for quick and effective results is hydrogen peroxide, available in any pharmacy and generally being not expensive. The mixture of hydrogen peroxide with a little water should be applied to the areas above the upper lip, repeating the process every day. If the skin goes slightly lighter as well, you shouldn’t worry because this effect will fade away in some 24 hours. Still, you should limit the frequency of repetition of this treatment if you notice some irritation.Mixtures Based on Hydrogen Peroxidea. Because of the fact that it’s not always comfortable to apply the liquid of hydrogen peroxide, there exist a number of mixtures and creams containing this element as a key. The advantage of these creams is that it’s much easier to apply and to prepare. Thus one of the easiest ways is to mix the hydrogen peroxide with a shaving cream. It also sticks to the skin easier. After half an hour you need to wash the mixture and apply a nourishing cream.b. In addition, you can also mix the hydrogen peroxide with liquid soap and add a couple of drops of ammonia mixing all with Vaseline. After several minutes, when the mixture dries on the skin, you need to wash it off with warm water. If you feel the skin burning or experience other unpleasant feelings, you need to wash it off right away.c. You can also mix 100 g of hydrogen peroxide with 2 pills of crushed Hydroperitum, 5 drops of ammonia and flour. The latter is also a great bleaching product. The mixture needs to be applied directly to the hair and kept there for some 10 minutes. This can be used daily. The hair will go lighter and will eventually either go thin and not noticeable or will fall off. Thanks for the A2A.

How do I bleach facial hair using hydrogen peroxide?

In order to bleach hair, you need lightening powder AKA bleach, and developer cream. You can get these at any beauty store or drug store. Do NOT get 40 volume developer for facial hair. Also get a follow up hair dye that is the shade you want your hair to be. Get at the most 20 volume and the least 10. What you can do is make what is called a bleach bath or soap cap. This is a more gentle but slower way to lighten hair. You mix the bleach and developer with shampoo and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes. Keep an eye on it though as the hair closest to your skin will lighten faster so start at the ends if you have a long beard. Don't forget to tone it with a purple shampoo or toner after you dye it.

Is it safe to mix bleach and hydrogen peroxide?

H2O2 and sodium hypochlorite produces salt water, oxygen gas and some heat. It's safe in the sense that it doesn't produce toxic chemicals, but don't mix them in a sealed bottle, or mix a lot at once (only mix a few tablespoons or less) or use high concentrations. Oxygen is what makes things burn, and heat is produced by the reaction (although not enough heat to be dangerous in household concentrations). So your cigarette might suddenly catch fire.** Also, sodium hypochlorite (bleach) is not safe to handle or inhale. So make sure that you start with a lot of H2O2, and add the bleach to the H202, not the other way around!
