Blocking Emails And Domains

How do I get rid of spam emails I block the sender and the domain but still keep getting them?

Getting rid of spam mail on your own is a hopeless task. It’s best to outsource this to the companies that devote a lot of resources to blocking spam across millions of accounts. Assuming you run your own server, you need to look into solutions from companies like Symantec, McAfee, Sophos, Barracuda, etc. If you don’t run your own servers and spam is a problem for you, you need to discuss it with your email provider - or consider changing email providers to someone who does a better job.

How do you block junk emails that end with a "*.info" domain?

Thanks!

Ech
There is no management in Classic (or) I can't find it.
There are 500) email addresses to block and I'm full, adding one of those dang .info domains when I get my daily batch of spam.

Yahoo's spam guard works, and it's placing them in the spam folder.
I'm concerned just because this person is so venomous that the image swiping may get better & I'll get caught someday.

I've never opened any of these.
I'm getting the forged URL from "copy link location" in Firefox 3.6.

I've tried a filter called .info, but it doesn't work, hence the reason for this post.

If I had my wish....That would be *it*.

I've got a professional on my case.
They've got the redirected URL tagged with a string...I'm guessing so they know for sure who opened it.

Any thoughts on my .info filter are still much appreciated.
Maybe that's not possible?

Blocking Domain Addresses?

I have blocked numerous domain addresses using the view full header feature to determine where the spam is coming from, but am still receiving from these sites. I'm using the domain from the first address shown. Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch with Yahoo? Also, get a lot of spam with yahoo address that just contain groups of letters. Most have the subject of Luxury Watches or Live Cam. Is there some way to block these without blocking the yahoo domain?

Thanks,

How can i block an entire domain in Yahoo! mail?

Go to Options > Mail Options > Spam. In the Add Block field, enter the name of the domain that you want to block, such as "domain.org" (without the quotes of course). Then click Add. This should block everything from that domain.
(If you are still a user of the original Y.Mail, go instead to Options > Block Addresses.)

Why can't I block web domains today in yahoo mail?

I got many emails from articleshares.com
I know that the format for blocking a domain is @domainname.com or just put the domain name.
The only message that I get is "The email address to block is invalid"
I have successfully blocked domains in the past using the @domainname.com format but today it is not working. What is the problem?

Can I block a domain using wildcards?

Every day there are 20 new spams from numerous domains that end with .info.
Rather than block evey one of these, why can't I use wildcards such as *.info to get them all? I have tried this and it doesn't work. Are there any wildcards that will accomplish this instead of using my 500 limit to list them separately?
Thanks for your replies.

Is there a way to automatically block all incoming emails except for those I whitelist?

Your best bet is to write a rule that only allows emails from people listed in your contacts or address book, that way you don't have to update the rule each time you want to allow a new email through, you can just add them to your contacts.
