Blood In Urine Lower Back Pain Abdominal Pain

White blood cells in urine, lower abdominal pain, but no bacteria. HELP?

The presence of white blood cells in the urine is typically a sign of infection. It can be anything from a simple UTI to liver or kidney problems. Any infection will cause the white blood cells.

Often, a UTI will pass on it's own and the blood cells will show up in a low count because the body is still healing. They say high count when there's a lot (obvious infection) or low count when there's just a few (possible passing infection). As long as you aren't presenting a high temperature, vomiting, or experiencing severe diarrhea, there's not much a doctor can do.

A lot of things affect our bowel movements: coffee, foods high in fat or fiber, supplements, and medications. It's important to eat a balanced and healthy diet. If you feel like you're getting a UTI then drink plenty of water to flush out bacteria. Also drink plenty of cranberry juice because it contains special enzymes that make it more difficult for bacteria to "hold on" to the lining in your urinary tract. When you have to urinate, go don't wait. Holding our urine keeps bacteria in.

An actual kidney infection as the result of a UTI infection is rare. The UTI would have to go untreated for quite awhile until the bacteria reached the kidneys. A kidney infection will give severe pain in the back up near the shoulder blades and not near the lower back as many people often seem to believe. You can try the B.R.A.T. diet and see if that helps. Bananas, white rice, applesauce, and toast are easy on the digestive tract.

What does pain in the lower back mean when holding urine?

Back muscles are tight to cause that pain. You are causing the muscles in your back to tightened up as well when holding it inside. Freeing up your back muscles will get that to stop and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

I woke up because of abdominal pain and I went to restroom, my urine is very very dark I think it may blood?

Sounds like you may have a bad urinary tract infection that may be spreading to your kidneys. Any color in the urine other than clear to light yellow should be taken into consideration for things of this nature but not limited to. You will most certainly have to go to your doctors so they can give you the right referral to a specialist. More than likely it will be a urologist because of the reasons you gave. I had a similar experience and had to have a minor procedure to check for possible kidney failure and damage. I was told that I have to make sure that I intake adequate amounts of water and to stay away from liquids with dye in them like colored soda, tea, and junk juices. After taking heed to the urologists orders, two weeks of meds and routine visits, I felt much better. I still struggle with making sure I drink plenty of h2o and best to believe my kidneys are sure to remind me. It's a process of becoming self disciplined that's all however, i strongly encourage you to consider my advice. Be Blessed

What causes bright red blood in stool and lower back pain?

It could be ulcerative colitis (chronic inflammatory bowel disease). Before i was diagnosed with this condition i was having abdomen cramps and frequently had to go to the toilet. I was shitting bloody stool and suffered back pain at that time.So when i asked my doctor about the back pain, he said it was the cause of the inflammation in my intestine which spreads to my lower spinal area. But please do not think that you have ulcerative colitis because doctors have to perform a colonoscopy on you before they can find out what causes these symtoms that you are having. Please see a doctor first ok. I really hope you do not have this thing because having ulcerative colitis is very very frustrating. It really affects your social life.

I have lower back pain and my doctor says my white blood cell count is high what does that mean?

it sounds exactly like a kidney infection. remember your kidneys are in lower back area, underneath your ribs. the high white cell count means there is an infection in your body, and it is multyiplying to try and kill it. be gratefull your only symptom is low back pain, it could be MUCH worse. ive seen people end up in the hospital, because if not treated it can affect your kidney function.
