Chills, fever, headache, body aches, pain behind eyes...?
About two days ago I started feeling feverish and my head and body was achey all over and I felt dizzy and weak whenever I moved and I would have the chills one moment and then be sweating the next. I tried to sleep it off but i have slept terribly both nights, tossing and turning and waking up a lot and having strange dreams. I took ibuprofen to reduce my fever and hopefully help with the soreness and aches but it only slightly helped. The next day I felt somewhat better but as the day progressed I felt worse and still had those same symptoms. This is the third day and my body aches have subsided mostly, but my head and especially behind my eyes are still sore. When I move my eyes to the side or close them shut it is sore and I feel pressure behind my eye balls. I have only had a fever the first night and I have no other symptoms (I.e. stomach troubles, vomiting, nasal or throat issues, etc.) but I am still having minor aches, a headache and pain and pressure behind my eyes. I rarely get sick or have headaches and have never experienced anything like this so I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue that has been diagnosed? If things have not improved soon I will be going to the doctor but I am currently on vacation and would like to have some relief sooner as this is really putting a damper on my trip and causing me a lot of worry. Ouch i just got over something just like that but mine was the flu and it's horrible.Sounds like you may have it also' so get in bed take some aspirin or Tylenol for the aches' and drink lots of liquids like juice or water but what really helps with stomach aches is sprite or ginger ail' as it works like alka seltzer ...Keep taking your temp and if it gets 104 or higher then you better get to a hospital' but you'll be fine with the fevers any way..Good luck and get well soon..
Feeling Dizzy AFTER the flu?!?
I've had the flu since Sunday but my fever is gone n my head doesn't hurt. It's just my throat n stomach now.. But when ever I stand up or walk I feel extremely dizzy or when I close my eyes I have the spins and I just feel out of it since I woke up and last night!! I can't go to the dr. As we are having a snow storm with freezing rain and also because I feel dizzy and out of it. Is this a commen symptom when coming off of the flu?? I REALLY hope someone can help me!!!
Is it normal to feel unwell the day after getting my tattoo?
It's not unusual to feel a little off for a day or two after a new tattoo. I find it true for larger pieces, but to some extent with all of mine. Two things happen. During the tattoo process your system is pretty amped up. That endorphin rush that people talk about wears the body out a bit. It's tiring. The next day you're suffering from a serious let down from those endorphins, and the body is working hard to heal your new tattoo. So your immune system and others are working overtime. The rest of your body doesn't really know the difference between tattoo related immune system work and flu related immune system work. Does that make any sense? I often run a mild fever for 24-48 hours after a tattoo
