Things crash and burn and people are starving to the point of starvation and they dont know what lerks in the Mine in the middle of the desert... It is so hectic XD there is like 5 books in the series so far and they just keep getting better. The start is a little slow but half way it gets intense. It would crumble to the ground. The Space elevator concept goes out past geostationary orbit to a counterweight so that the structure gets pulled tight and doesn't have to support it's own weight but that's 23,000 miles away. A rotovator could be 1,500 miles long but it wouldn't be able to stop on the Earth as the tension is from it's rotating. At best, it could momentarily touch down before going up again. A rotavator would probably dock with an airplane in midair. You can't take the bible literally, it was after all edited and printed by man. The King James version as wonderful as it is, is still a translation of a translation, of a translation, of a few selected scriptures someone chose, no one has seen the original bible. We don't even know what scriptures were in the first known catholic bible, the existing bible was put together from scratch afterwards, there are many versions of the bible before our current bible. There was a science fiction show where a preacher in a post apocalyptic world kept holding a book up and saying, it was written as justification for everything he said. At the end of the story he was overcome and all the pages were found to be blank. The bible is basically used in the same way. All quotes are taken out of context. The quote you made could even refer to building an O'Neill Cylinder, Bernal Sphere or Stanford Torus in space as with such structures there would eventually be more people living in the habitats than on Earth and few people would even have been to Earth.

So, the daitya asks for the secret of enraging Lord Vishnu so that he comes for a batte with him. Narada muni insists on kidnapping Bhudevi (earth) since she is his wife.Hiranyaksha takes the advice (or rather a plan of Devtas and Narada muni) and kidnaps Bhudevi and hides her in Ksheer sagara. The enraged Lord takes form of a wild Boar, the Varaha and kills the daitya. Then, the Bhudevi is brought out of the Ksheer sagar by the Varaha carrying her as in the pictureAnother instance is that the subject of Geography is called Bhugolashastra, Bhu meaning earth and Gola meaning round. Space science is called Khagolashastra.
