Yahoo Bookmarks on toolbar not working.?
Was having a similar problem, might have found a fix, it's still working for the time being. I recently installed IE 11, that was when Yahoo Toolbar quit working, same error as yours. I noticed that the appearance of the buttons had changed, and that was when it quit working. I figured Toolbar had updated itself. When I checked in Control Panel\Programs and features, I found two pieces of Yahoo software, Yahoo Toolbar and Yahoo Update. I figured updater was the problem. Uninstall both and reboot. Double check that the c:\Program files(x86)\Yahoo folders are all gone, delete if necessary. I took it a step further and used Piriform's CCleaner (Freeware) to scan and clean the registry, not sure if this was required or not. Run the installer, and un-select all the options for Chrome, Google Toolbar, Yahoo Experience, Automatic Updates, etc. After install, it tries to open an instance of Internet Explorer, shut that down right away. Before doing anything else, go back to Control Panel\Programs and Features, and uninstall Yahoo Update. Annoying that it installed anyway after you unchecked the box. My Yahoo Toolbar buttons returned to their old appearance, and the bookmarks button is working, at least for now...
My Yahoo "Bookmarks" not working?
Mine too. I emailed customer support 4-5 days ago, and have received no answer. I haven't been able to add bookmarks for about 1 1/2 weeks. Actually, just found this in another thread: From Yahoo: To Yahoo! Bookmarks users: Yahoo! Bookmarks will be undergoing site maintenance from 1-August-2011 to 31-October-2011. During that time, you will not be able to add new bookmarks. You will, however, still be able to view your bookmarks during this time. Sorry for the inconvenience. -- This would have been nice to know; I wonder where they found it.

Don't uninstall Firefox. Read about the recent changes at bookmarks.yahoo.com. Bookmarks are no longer offered unless you download the toolbar. The toolbar has many interesting features but can cause some problems.

Bookmarks will be undergoing site maintenance from 1-August-2011 to 31-October-2011. During that time, you will not be able to add new bookmarks. Bookmarks in Google toolbar not working?
This happens every once in a while, and NOTHING you do makes any difference. Then all of a sudden it starts working again. And yes, it's happening right now to me as well. If you need to access your already-bookmarked pages, you can do so from the My Account page of Google, under My Products you should see Bookmarks. Click on that, and it will take you to all of your bookmarks. I don't know how to add a bookmark while this is happening, but you can add a bookmark to Firefox Bookmarks if you right-click on the page and select Bookmark This Page. Then when Google Bookmarks is working again, you can go to whatever bookmarks you saved, open the pages, and re-bookmark them in Google Bookmarks. Hope that helps!

bookmarks have returned today. March 5th 2010. The guy named g wrote this. (This is how I reclaimed my missing bookmarks, On your BT Home page – assuming that BT haven’t lost that as well – single left click on the box marked “Add Content.” At the very far right of the page that opens is a purple heading “Browse Content.” Scroll to the bottom of that list, and there you find “All Categories.” Single left click this option to reveal “Tools & Reference.” Single left click this one, and in the black screen space to your left you will now see a number of icons, one of which is “Bookmarks.” Single left click this box, and you will find your Bookmarks now added to your Home page – right above the Mail Preview box, which is just where you don’t want it. However, you can drag this new “Bookmarks” box down your Home page so that it sits below your Mail Preview. From now on – until BT makes an even bigger backet of things - your bookmarks will be accessible. ) This guy had the best answer.
Why isn't my Yahoo Bookmark App working?
Yahoo had a message that the bookmarks are under maintenance from August till the end of October. You can save them to your favorites.
