Well, you seem to be approaching this intellectually, so my answer might seem too base for you. I think perhaps that is the bane of the anarchist theories though, to cerebral, not enough guts so to speak. Anarchism-as I have experienced it-is about functioning as a group or society in which each individual has an equal share in both responsibility to the group and security from the group. Kind of an everyone works, everyone plays, everyone cooks, everyone eats thing. In actual practice it kind of goes to hell. Not saying it can not work, just that unless the group is actually made up of equal people to begin with- it doesn't. It's not dominance or "the fittest" that is the problem here-it's the weakest. It's not infighting for control or power tor authority that undermines the cooperative effort, it's those who are too lazy or self indulgent to be relied upon to contribute equally. So, instead of the fittest taking advantage of their superiority they attempt to make up for the inadequacies of others by doing more. This leads to problems within the group because those doing the most are dissatisfied with the situation while those doing the least feel that everything is going fine. You see the break down? Sorry, I'm probably not making my point well, but you should at least get my drift...
