Bosnian War Is It Fair To Blame The Serbs For The Atrocities

Kristijan Car helped me answering this question so it will be even easier and more precise to explain. Just follow his complete answer in which he describes everything with good accuracy and history facts but without many important details.Lets start with First Balkan War. “ I heard about some atrocities” is a well known proven argument to be used. Since we speak about Serbs “I heard” can be quickly transformed to “Yes they did it”. It used to be this way for a long time now.Haven’t you heard about “ Be humane as Serbia was in 1885”?Serbo-Bulgarian WarAnyone ever tried to mention things like this. No, why should they?Kristijans explanation of WW1 is pretty much accurate but again without some important details. Anyone told you about atrocities that Serbs suffered in WW1?Detailed, not skiped ones. The war crimes of the Habsburg army. Between soldateska and court martial.Small hint, in Habsburg army there was Croatian and Bosnian muslim soldiers too…And everything was kinda fine until he came to WW2.Bleiburg….Bleiburg massacreSo, in his mind Serbs should be blamed for killing Serbs( yes many Serb chetniks died in Bleiburg altogether with Croatian ustashe.Wonder who Ustashe are?Ustashe - WikipediaLet’s not forget that partisan movement in Yugoslavia was consistent with all nations from Yugoslavia. Serbs, Croats, Bosnian muslims, Macedonians,Monenegrins. But noooo, it’s evil Serbs….Later he compares Bleiburg with Jasenovac.Jasenovac concentration camp - WikipediaFinaly, he came to conclusion that only Serbs should be blamed for shit that happened in ‘90s.Ethnic cleansing in Croatia?Anniversary of Operation Storm: The crimes others committed | DW | 03.08.2015But that’s how it ended. How it started? In Bosnia, not in Croatia.Bosnian War - WikipediaHe also mentioned Srebrenica that happened in 1995.He “forgot “ to tell you about villages surrounding Srebrenica. From 1992. to 1995.r/europe - Crimes against Serbs in Bosnia 1992—1995 (III) | Ferocious killing of Serbs in Kravica in 1993: “Merry Christmas, Chetniks!”Happy faces, Serbian village is burning. This time it was Kristijan from Croatia. Next time it can be Jusuf from Kosovo or Muhamed from Bosnia. Nothing will change. They will keep on ignoring complete truth and blame Serbs because it is easier like that. Also, who cares about Serbian victims. Who cares about truth…..And there is an answer to your question. One that you can see with your own eyes.I leave it to your logic and common sense.

Why did Serbs commit the Bosnian Genocide?

Any victim is the same and it was a great shame that the war started and also lasted for so long. Sad thing. Before the war nobody was concerned with the ethnicity. All were just people. Then came the politics and the politicians. They wanted the war. People went to the streets to protest for the peace. They were sniped down, so the politicians soon after that had their war. There were a lot of victims during the war - Wikipedia source Total 104,732 Bosniaks c. 68,101 Serbs c. 22,779 Croats c. 8,858 Others c. 4,995 The high count of Muslim victims is for couple of reasons. 1st there were 2 Muslim factions during the war. They fought each other for the dominance. Most gruesome massacres were commuted during that period among those factions. After 1 faction won they were still facing from 2 sides Serbs and the Croats. Each wanted to have their own war agenda. Once started a circle of revenge could not end easily. Each monstrosity was avenged by ALL sides. Total blood-bath. The genocide that is mostly mentioned is in Srebrenica. There you had 2 ethnic cleansing. First was done by the Muslims over the Serbs. Then oddly enough the Muslim troops retreated from the town. For what reason, why leave your own population undefended!? Serbs rushed in. Muslim knowing what had been done tried to flee and some managed to do so. Most were not so lucky. Revenge is what colored that attack. Also some 70% of the people could have been saved. YES 70%. All that was to be done was for the Dutch soldiers that were stationed there to accept them in their base. 1000 people!!! (more -less dont get stuck on the number here, I use 1000 as A LOT of people) They were denied access to the base. Why!? Revenge I can understand, this cowardly action I can not! It came so far that one frustrated Muslim soldier threw grenade at Dutch tank after their refusal to accept women and children at least. It is all too complicated and my firm belief is that the war could had been avoided with ease. It is a shame that European states instead of sending troops to end the war even armed some of the factions, illegally selling them arms. To conclude why the Muslims had so many victims? Because they were not as well armed as the rest. Because it was all a big circle of bloody revenge. If you ask me all the people are equal and 1 victim is too much...too much.

Bosnian War ????????????????

Welcome to the tangled mess that is the Balkans. You're right, Bosnians were basically South Slavs who were converted to Islam as a result of centuries of Ottoman Turkish domination in the region. For the record, even the Croats are ethnically quite similar to the Serbs and practically speak the same language (Serbo-Croatian), only the Croats became Catholic (Italian influence) and the Serbs Orthodox (Greco-Byzantine influence). The only difference between Serbs and Croats in my experience is that Serbs are a bit darker on average, likely due to more pre-Slavic ancestry via the Romanized and Hellenized Thracians and Illyrians, who became mixed with and were absorbed by the Slavic migrants.

Anyway, the Bosniaks (Bosnian Muslims) were indeed basically Serbs who underwent Islamic conversion. The fact is, all of the Balkan peoples are genetically closely related (though don't tell them that), and the fact is that it's basically language and sometimes only religion that divides one ethnic group from the next, hence what we saw in Bosnia and in Kosovo between Serbs and Albanians.

As far as who aided who, I believe Russians aided Serbs on a "pan-Slavic" kinship basis (even though Bosniaks were also Slavs, but Muslim rather than Christian), and I believe Greeks also aided Serbs (no love lost between Greeks and Muslims - Ottoman Turks occupied Greece for centuries). As for the Bosniaks, I believe that Al Qaeda (believe it or not) sent militants in to fight on their behalf due to the Muslim connection, but don't quote me on that. I imagine nearby Albania, also largely Muslim, may have done the same thing. Kosovo occurred only a few years after Bosnia.

Bosnian War?

The root cause of the war was nationalism.

After the breakup of Yugoslavia every state wanted to go their separate ways. Serbia and Serbs who lived all over Yugoslavia did not approve of this. They wanted to maintain the dominant control of Yugoslavia. Slovenia with majority Slovene population didn't have much issues... however. They repelled the Yugoslav national army fairly easily mainly because there was not much local support from Serbians living in Slovenia.

Then the war in Croatia happened. Part of Croatia called Krajina had a big number of Croatian-Serbs which wanted to maintain control of that part of Croatia. With the help of YNA again, they were able to take control for a number of years.

Bosnia being the most ethnically diverse state of former Yugoslavia had the bloodiest conflict. YNA had plenty of time to prepare the strategic military positions to enstate Bosnian-Serbs as the dominant force in the region. About a year into the conflict having seen how much territory Serbs have taken (and ethnically cleansed) in Bosnia (over 50%). Croats felt they could also take a piece of Bosnia to themselves. Bosniak's traditionally in good relations with Croats were now faced with two enemies.

What ensured was a 3 way war between Bosniaks, Bosnian Serbs, Bosnian Croats supported and bolstered by their controlling states: Serbia-Montenegro and Croatia respectively.

Bosniaks were outgunned and completely cut off, attacked by Serbs and Serbia from the North East and Croats and Croatia from the South West. Despite never wanting a war in the first place, they were on the receiving end of most of the atrocities and genocide in the conflict.

At some point the USA had enough of seeing, concentration camps, genocide and constant shelling of cities like Sarajevo and Mostar, and had decided to put an end to it. To equalize the playing field they bombed the Serbian positions.

Bosniaks and Croats made piece and made a coalition which resulted in rapid taking back of territory that was in Serbian control.

Not long after all 3 sides were ordered to stop all military activity and sit at a negotiating table. A Dayton accord was signed, and the war was stopped.

A2A.Yes. There were aliances. Bosniaks and Croats in coalition against Serbs. This coalition was shortly broken by Croat–Bosniak War, however it was restored after Washington agreement:Washington Agreement - WikipediaWorth mentioning is also this conflict of Bosniaks vs Bosniaks (mainly) about Western Bosnia:Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia - Wikipedia

What names did the Serbs call the Muslims during the Bosnia Herzegovina Genocide?

he term Bosnian Genocide is used to refer the two to the genocide committed via Bosnian Serb forces in Srebrenica in 1995, or to ethnic cleansing that occurred in the time of the 1992-1995 Bosnian conflict.[a million] interior the Nineties, various government, consistent with a minority of criminal scholars, asserted that ethnic cleansing as achieved via factors of the Bosnian Serb military became genocide. those secure a decision via the United international locations widely used assembly and four convictions for genocide in German courts, (the convictions have been based upon a much wider interpretation of genocide than that used via worldwide courts). [2] In 2005, america Congress surpassed a decision putting forward that "the Serbian rules of aggression and ethnic cleansing meet the words defining genocide".[3] in spite of the indisputable fact that, consistent with a majority of criminal scholars, the worldwide criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the worldwide court docket of Justice (ICJ) have ruled that, to ensure that strikes to be deemed genocide, there must be actual or organic and organic destruction of a secure team and a particular motive to dedicate such destruction. to this point, purely the Srebrenica bloodbath has been discovered to be a genocide via the ICTY, a looking upheld via the ICJ.[4] Contents [hide]

Since you have asked a quantitiative question; how many bullets and knives, etc., then how shall we measure the “ammount of war crime” commited by USA?! We can measure it in tons of depleted uranium, units of political manipulation of truth (word/line), stolen organs as consequence of the humanitarian chaos they created and above all the number of deaths which were consequence of their violation of United Nations Security Council…Ah, but yes, they are above International Law and Practice, so “war crime” does not apply to them. It only applies to Serbs, who are being decapitated at the NWO Sacrifice Altar of Invincibility.Going back to the quantitative approach, for each fired Bosnian Muslim bullet, two were fired from the Bosnian Serb side. That implies that Bosnian Serbs were two times more effective than Bosnian Muslims and two times bloodier, implying further that they committed two times more war crimes than Bosnian Muslims. Applying advanced mathematics, we can add to the number of killed Bosnian Muslims the number of Bosnian Muslims killed by the Bosnian Muslim leadership; as meat bate or by own iron, if that is considered war crime by quantitative standards! I applaud to all that! I wish the ratio were even higher, cause the Bosnian Muslims brought the war to Bosnia and are still eager for more!
