Are these Kicker speakers good?
I am looking at upgrading the factory sound system in my "new" car. The old speakers sound like crap, and I'm looking to throw in some new ones that have decent bass at a decent price. I guess my first big question is whether or not Kicker overall as a brand is good quality, and then more specifically whether or not the two speakers listed below are any good. They will be hooked up to a factory head unit until I get the cash together to upgrade it as well, and then possibly an amp in a year or two. Here's the speakers... neither of those will be very good to be honest i have heard sony 4x10's and they soudn alright, there are also kicker 4x10's on crutchfield.com , also try poineers stay from powerbass at all costs
Which is better alpine or bose car speakers?
I have a 97 grand prix gtp with the upgraded sound package. I managed to blow 2 of the speakers which i was told should be Bose. Im not exactly positive on what kind they are, but before i blew them they sounded amazing. I was just planning on replacing all the cars speakers but i cant find Bose anywhere but the dealership, which, no suprise, highly over-prices everything. So i am trying to get the info on Alpine type-r and type-x component speakers which were recomended to me. I love music and my car system has to sound good. I'm just worried about getting type-r's and being disapointed because they don't sound as good as the Bose. Long story short - Where else can i buy Bose component speakers besides the dealership where the car came from? How do Bose speakers compare to Alpine Type-R's? Which is better, the Bose or the Type-X's? P.S. im not talking about subs here and im really only looking at alpine or bose, but i'll take other suggestions to mind
Wich is the best speaker brand jbl sony or kicker?
speakers or subwoofers? if you are talking about speakers the upper end jbl's are of much higher quality and sound better than the kicker or sony speakers. if you were meaning subwoofers the high end jbl's are still the best quality with great sound quality while the kickers would probably be louder and the sonys are a joke.
Should I stick with my car's Bose speakers or upgrade?
I've been planning to upgrade my car's stereo system for a while now. Thinking that my car (a 2002 Altima) had factory speakers installed, I figured that the improvement in sound quality would be significant. I just found out, however, that is has a Bose system installed. My dad advised me not to upgrade my speakers because Bose speakers are "the best". Obviously that's not true, but Bose speakers are supposed to be of good quality. Only having about $600 to spend on my new system (speakers, subwoofer, amplifier?, etc), I wouldn't be able to buy top-notch parts. The advisors at www.Crutchfield.com advised me to buy some Kicker speakers and a 10" powered subwoofer, so that's what I've been planning on getting. Would Kicker speakers and maybe a new subwoofer result in noticeably better sound than the Bose speakers? The Crutchfield advisers told me that I should upgrade, but I'm not sure if they were just trying to get me to buy stuff from them or not.
