well i think its from a trigger point. the main trigger point that can cause arm pain are the :scalenes, infraspinatus, biceps, triceps. I suggest you research on trigger points and this specific ones. You should massage these trigger points and the ache should slowly subside or you can have a trigger point massage. Hope it helps!

Can I lift weights if my arms are sore?

There are two types of soreness. There is muscle soreness that you will feel in the muscle itself usually the second day after you work out. This is due to lactic acid buildup in the worked muscle and damaged muscle tissue. Lactic Acid is a waste byproduct of muscle metabolism of glycogen. As you work out more, it will not be as severe as when you are starting out.However you need to give the muscle time to heal and rebuild before working it again.If you do not, you will work yourself into a rut. As a kid on my 20's I over worked all the time and did not see strength or size gains. It was only when I had to lay off due to travel or work, and I came back stronger than before, that I realized I was never fully recovering between workouts. So DO NOT WORK a sore muscle. Work a different body part, but not one that requires you use the sore muscle.Another type of soreness occurs in the muscle insertion. A muscle has an origin and an insertion.For instance the muscle origin of your pectorals is the center of the chest, the insertion is where it attaches to your upper arm in the shoulder.The biceps origin ins the upper arm the insertion is at the elbow. Many times you will feel soreness at the insertion, where the tendon's have been stressed more than they are used to. It is important that you give them a chance to heal.While it is not common, tears in the muscle insertion can occur, resulting in the muscle breaking free. Not a good thing. Due to a bone spur I had to have my right biceps tendon cut and reattached to keep it from breaking due to severe abrasion by the bone spur. My orthopedic surgeon said it looked like a rat had been chewing on it. So he cleaned it up and reattached it. I couldn't use it for 6 weeks.So do yourself some good and rest up between workouts. Take supplements, I recommend ZMA(Zinc, Magnesium Aspartate) is it just a mineral supplement to aid in recovery and sleep. Vit C and D3 are very helpful in reducing soreness and promoting healing.

Why are the muscles in my hands and arms so weak when I first wake up in the morning, and then gradually gain strength as the day goes on?

You should go to the doctor and have thorough examination and blood test done. It most likely be something else if this not shows anything (I think that it doesn't).From my long experience this type of symptoms are related to exposition to EMFs during night rest. Really sore arms after lifting weights. Normal?

It kind of shows that it is having positive effects on your muscles. Not really though. It is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). A lot of people believe it is caused by lactic acid build up. This is a misconception. Lactic acid is removed from the body about 35 minutes after weight lifting.

What causes DOMS is the stress you put on your tendons during the eccentric phase of your lifts. The eccentric phase is when the weight is moving with gravity. Let's look at your curls (assuming you did curls) - the eccentric phase would be when you lower the dumbbells or barbell. You have to control the speed at which the weight is lowered. You can't just let it fall. This extra stress that is put on the tendons will cause them to swell a little and become sore a day or two later. The reason is because they are not used to being used like that. It will go away after about 4 or 5 days. If you take more than about 7 or 8 days off from weight lifting you will have to go through it again. If you stay with weight lifting and gradually increase the weight as you go, you will not really experience it again. If you do, it will not be as bad. Ice baths and NSAIDS can help.

What does Chest Pain and Left Arm Ache could mean?

hi there, I am a 20 year old female, 5'3" tall and weighs 43kgs. i am petit, but sure I eat enough. Lately I've been feeling uncomfortable because of my entire left arm is aching so much and also a sudden chest pain comes along, I am suffering with this pain for weeks now and its kinda alarming me. I was thinking if this is because i don't have adequate sleep, like i sleep for only 5 hours a day, cuz i always stay up at night and i also have Iron Deficiency Anemia but i myself is taking my vitamins/medicine for my IDA. So I was wondering what does this chest pain and left arm ache could possibly mean?

And by the way as i did some research I took up a stress test and my grade there was too low like 2.44 out of 5.

After drinking alcohole , next day my both arms pain?

The alcohol is dehydrating your body, your circulation is not functioning correctly because of the dehydration, therefore the pain in the arms. The best solution for this is to drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. The mineral water is going to replace what has been wiped out by the alcohol. drink as much of this as you can throughout the day.

It's apparent that your body does not take well to alcohol. Try to consume less next time.

Why is the chest area near my armpit hurt the next day after chest workout?

The most likely scenario is that you are just sore.
