Why did my mother chose her boyfriend over me?
I'm 24 now. I haven't spoke to my mother in six years. She chose her boyfriend over me. She don't even know her grandkids. My parents are not together anymore and my father keeps telling me its her lost. Just before I left she keep showing hate towards me because she thought I'd take her boyfriend. He's in prison now. I could go on and on about the problem. My brothers and sisters think I should give her another chance. After all these years and all that she done to me I just can't. I don't know what to do.

So, what's your question??? His kid should be his top priority, period...and whether the child has a mother (living) or not, doesn't mean she should have to live with her mother... You say "if we had a child" (you and your boyfriend) but then later say "I don't really think he's that good of a father" so why would you even consider a serious relationship with a man who you wouldn't want to co-parent with (knowing each time you have sex, pregnancy is possible)??? This belongs in Family or Singles & Dating...
How to get rid of my step-mom?
My mom and dad divorced 10 yrs ago. Mom left Dad for someone else. Dad stayed single for a long time. He went out with a couple girls but nothing ever became serious. So he broke up with them. About 4 yrs he met his new wife. At first me and my brother and sister liked her for about 6 months now we all hate her. Everyone in my family hates her. Mom says she is a liar, manipulator and only having my dad for his money. Mom says I dont have to listen to her, I only have to listen to her, dad and moms boyfriend (because he has the money). Dads new wife doesn't try to tell me what to do or nothing like that. Sometimes she is nice but I just dont want her around. I want it to be just me and my dad on the weekends and dont want her going or doing anything with us. My brother and sister dont go to my dads anymore, they are 19 and are busy with their own life. I am 16 and still go every weekend. I make comments so dad dont hear me like "i hate her" "why does she always gotta go" I make sure she hears me though. If dad does hear me he dont say nothing to me. I always ask dad to do things that I know she wont do so it will be just me and dad. I dont talk to this woman and hate her so much. I wish dad would have never married her. She ruined everthing with my family, Before she came along, dad would come to moms house and just hang out with us. We would all spend holidays together or go on vacation together. Dad has always gotten along with all of moms boyfriends. But us kids have never liked any of dads girlfriends and neither has mom. Dad use to buy me whatever I wanted but that has slowed down since the wife came along. I know its her fault, mom says it is. Mom says its her fault that we arent a family anymore and shes the reason dad dont come around like he use too. So how do I get rid of this woman? I hate her and so does everyone else. Dad hasnt seen me for 3 weekends because he has had to work so much due to an emergency job. I think he should spend the next couple of weekends with me and not include her. She gets to see him in the evenings. Not much but at least an hour. Its only fair to me.
