Bringing A Friend To The Beach

Is it okay to bring a friend on a first date?

No. Why would you want to? The only reason I can think of is that something about the person tells you that you might not be safe alone with him or her. If that’s so, trust your instincts and either meet in a public place (good advice for any first date) and arrange your own transportation home, postpone the date until you feel more comfortable with this individual, or cancel entirely. If this person turns out to have relationship potential, bringing someone else on your date would likely be a big turn-off. This behavior says you didn’t really want to get to know him or her on more than a superficial level. And that you’re too insecure to open up and trust, even a little.

Would you go to a nude beach with bf and his friends?

Personally, if I was experiencing a nude beach for the first time I wouldn't want to know anyone there (with the exception of my husband). For some reason, it would simply seem more comfortable to me to know these were people I wouldn't have to see again.

But if I'd been to a nude beach before, then I don't think, unless I had a previous bad experience at a nude beach, that I'd feel uncomfortable about going with other friends.

I once went visiting on the property of a friend of some of our friends, he was a nudist and had a huge amount of land, I'd never met him before but he was completely nude the whole time. It really wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it would have been.

Invite my friends to beach trip?

Okay, so this summer I want me and friends to go to the beach together. How do I ask them in a way where it's not desperate and it sounds fun. I'm starting off with asking just one friend then I'll ask the others.

Is this okay?

So, I've been wanting to talk to you for a while because I've been thinking, but I wanted to tell you after Spring Break because I wasn't sure, didn't know if we were on good terms or how you'd respnd, and didn't want to overwhelm you. So, looks like you had an amazing time so pretty much this Summer I was thinking that we should get a group together and go to either Destin, Miami, PCB, or Orlando for the 4th of July or around that time. :) Last time me and you hung out? October. A shitload has changed since then. So please, let's and we should start talking about it. Anyone going is fine with me, but preferably Pope people.

I got invited to stay at a friends beach house. what goodies should I bring?

My friend Andrea invited me to stay with her and her family shore house for a couple of days. What kind of snacks should I bring. Her step mom is really into eating raw food. She's a natural new age hippie. Or should I just show up empty handed? I don't want to be an ungrateful house guest.

Ladies, would you go to a nude beach with bf and his friends?

I absolutely love the nude beach! Once you're there, you forget that you're naked in a few minutes and just enjoy an awesome beach day.

As a girl, I was a bit apprehensive the first time I went (I went with three guys and one other girl on the last day of classes at the end of our freshman year in college), but once we got there and I got naked, that passed quickly. One of the nice things about the nude beach is that it's really clothing optional, meaning that your girlfriend can be fully dressed, just topless or completely naked...whatever she likes and feels most comfortable with.

Being aropund other naked people on the beach is a great way for a first-timer to get over the very normal anxiety about being naked in public...it really becomes no big deal rather quickly, and let me tell you...it's a great feeling! Nudity in appropriate situations (like a beach, pool etc.) is really a very normal way to be, and a nude beach vacation with friends is a great start.

One thing: don't pressure her to get naked or even take her top off if she doesn't want to. That will come in due time, but if it becomes an issue it can spoil the entire experience.

Also, be prepared for possible jealousy on your part at the idea of your friends seeing your girlfriend topless or naked...it might happen or not, but be prepared to get over it if it does.

Last thing, there's always the possibility that some of the guys may end up with boners when they see your girlfriend topless or naked for the first time, especially if they haven't been to a nude beach before. It happens, and we (girls) don't get upset by it as long as the guys don't flaunt it or play with it...you get the picture, I'm sure. Just be cool about it, lie over on your stomach for awhile until it passes and then forget about it...

Bottom line...I've ben going to the nude beach for the past 4 years, and will never wear a bathing suit again. I've probably been there over a hundred times, many times with friends (guys and girls) or alone if nobody was free to go on a particular day. I love it, and so will you.

Have fun...and bare hugs!

My girlfriend wants to go to a beach party with her girl friend and I feel insecure about it because I imagine that guys will try to dance with her and touch her inappropriately. What can I do about this?

I would not trust it. I’m not the jealous type but why does your girlfriend want to go to a beach party without you? I mean come on. That’s something you don’t do to your boyfriend or girlfriend. If you can’t get her to let you go with them as a couple then she shouldn’t be surprised that you’re gone when she comes home. This is not normal behavior. She doesn’t want you to go with her, to a beach party where there’s going to be a bunch of drinking and possible drug use, then I would consider… consider finding someone else. This is something I would not be comfortable with if I had a girlfriend and she didn’t want to invite me to go with her.She may or may not do anything, she may not cheat on you, but if she doesn’t want you to come with her to a beach party, you have every right to be suspicious. If this upsets your girlfriend, it’s her problem, not yours if she can’t understand why you don’t like the idea of not going together as a couple. This is something a couple should be doing together.

Should I take a friend with me on vacation?

My family is planning our 7 day spring break vacation (March) to somewhere in the Caribbean and it will probably just be me and my parents (one of my brother's is in college and doesn't like beach vacations and the other brother can't go because he has to work) unless I want to bring a friend. I've brought friends on vacation/gone on vacation with my friend's families before and sometimes it's stressful because I feel like I always have to entertain them since I brought them, but at the same time, I don't want to be bored and alone if I don't bring a friend. I think it would be fun to have a friend with me but I don't want to get tired of being with them after 4 days. So, should I just relax by myself or bring one of my friends?

I'm a college student visiting a friend's beach house soon. What is an appropriate gift to get his parents for their hospitality?

I'm not a huge fan of the idea of a college student bringing alcohol to a friend's parents. I know you're already drinking, but still, unless you know the parents well, best to avoid alcohol. Being a good guest means assisting with the chores while in the house - take out the garbage, set the table, wash the dishes (or load the dishwasher), do some grocery shopping if you can afford it. If, on the other hand, you expect to basically just eat and sleep there and will be disappearing from the table as soon as the food has been vacuumed up, I recommend bringing the following, depending on your budget:A basket of fresh baked bread and some nice cheeses. Cost, about $25-50, depending on the cheese. Go to a good market a day or two in advance and ask the cheese counter person to help you choose a good selection - just tell them your budget in advance. Pick up fresh bread on your way to the house if at all possible, first thing in that morning if not. A basket of fresh baked bread, some nice cheeses, and some nice jams or jellies from Europe or a farmers market. Cost, about $50-75. A basket of fresh baked bread, some nice cheeses, some nice jams or jellies, and an interesting pesto or a jar of fancy olives. Keep in mind how many people will be at dinner - if its just the 4 of you, one loaf of bread will be good enough. Two would be better. If there are more people, get more bread and more cheese. Be sure to tell the cheese counter person how many people you are shopping for. Have fun - and remember, the best guests make themselves useful when help is needed and absent when privacy is desired, not the other way around.
