Do iPhones ring when broken?
If your iPhone's broken and someone tried to call it, it'd be the same thing as if it were turned off. So yes, it will continue to receive calls and voicemail. They won't be on the phone per se, but stored on servers and associated with your account. Should your phone begin working again or you get it replaced, you will be able to retrieve them. EDIT: Like I said--it'd be like your phone was turned off. So yes, it would go straight to voicemail.
IPhone 6 plus home button broken?! HELP?

It feels as if it's gotten loose and will fall out, Touch ID still works, it also has a clicking nose when you press on the home button is that normal? I just really hope my phone is okay. Please help, thank you.
My teacher broke my iphone!?
During Applied Tech class, (A class which we are supposed to learn "technology" but the racist trash we call teacher makes us write plotless articles based on Wikipedia). So during class, we watched the most pointless movie ever. the movie had nothing in relevant with technology but in fact made fun of the chinese factory system. (Coincidentally he hates chinese people like me). So i was watching the movie and i couldn't stand it! Cause the movie was just a very long slide show made up of pictures and it was uncomfortable as the movie made fun of my race. So i open my iphone and start playing a game hoping to ignore the video. My teacher catches me and takes my iphone away because i should be concentrating on the movie like everyone else. And everyone else was just talking to each other.......(and the teacher was on youtube and secretly screen peeking at our computers) So when class was over i asked him for the iphone but he said he was sending it to the office. So i left the room with him. And when we were going down the school stairs, he dropped my iphone and cracked the SCREEN! HE CRACKED MY IPHONE SCREEN! So i was wondering will he pay for it? That transvestite-man-milf broke my iphone and he is going to pay for it!
How to tell my parents I broke my iPhone?
Save money to buy a new one. No help here, I know, but you know.. Just save the money.. Yah... XP, If I told my mom I broke my kindle fire (Considering I got it 4 days ago for my birthday) I'd be murdered in a flash. I see where you're coming from. Just try saving the money, buy a replacement phone, obviously a cheaper one considering the fact that you need to prove you're responsible with a phone to your parents now. Just tell him that you broke it, hand it over, say "Dad, I don't want a new one, I can always save up my money to get a cheaper phone.". Easy as 123. Sorry, I've lost... 1 phone before.. I have no idea where it is anymore. I also was swinging my key to my home on my wrist, it FLUNG off, and I was on the bus. LOL, almost one year and nobody has found it. xD I'm not allowed to have another phone now, but thats prolly because I don't have anybody to call. Just save your money. Just save it my dear. XP, I'm actually saving my money for a phone or iphone, whatever one I really want. I have like 225 dollars now, but you see. My tip is: Save. I've been saving for a year maybe. Since last year march 24th. My birthday. It works. Aren't Iphones 200? Yeah, just buy a cheaper and better phone. There's bound to be some out there. Sorry. Luck.

Ideas on how to use my broken iPhone 4 parts to make a cool electronic gadget?
The best you can do is to actually repair the iPhone, then use the phone as a whole for your project. Having said this, repairing this iPhone might cost as much as a working 2nd hand version. It might not be very profitable, but repairing the phone yourself can be a good learning experience, assuming that it can still be repaired. From what I can see in the pictures, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.The iPhone — and most other modern smartphones for that matter — are packed with sensors: accelerometer, camera, etc. On top of this, it has Wifi, 3G and Bluetooth built-in. So you have sensors and connectivity, all in one tiny package. It also has to process sensor input, though customising this processing isn’t as easy as, say, with an Arduino. You might have to write a custom app, but that’s a useful skill to have anyway. The main downside, at least if you need it, is that actuation — that is, real world, tangible output — is much harder to do with an iPhone than with, say, an Arduino, at least directly. Some concrete ideas:IP camera, either a security camera or a wildlife cameraRemote for any of your home automation projects. You can make it a smart remote by using sensors.Or you can just repair the iPhone and sell it, and use that money to buy an Arduino. But as I said, that phone seems wrecked. It’s probably easier to not bother with the phone at all and simply buy and Arduino to begin with!
