Broken Shoulder Hurts All The Time After A Week

My shoulder hurts when i do pushups?

Stretch before and after exercises. Done correctly, push-ups shouldn't harm your shoulder or back at all. The key is to keep your upper body straight as you push up, whether pivoting from your toes (the classic position) or from your knees (the "modified" push-up). If you arch your back, you'll strain it. That's a common mistake, so people who had shoulder problems should probably skip a week or two from push-up until heal completely. See your health care provider if persistent after three weeks. And good luck.

My shoulder hurts - What's wrong?

in your case maybe your stretching your internal muscles or effected to the joints slip.when we are facing this injury normally our nerves will feel stress and actually you put the pressure on the injury area when you ignore from the time you felt it.so what i can suggest try apply the muscle & joint rub on the injury part and reapply 3-4 times daily maybe for 2-3days.but if the pain is still the same without any improvement..the better way is go and meet the doctor.don't think too much about the budget.you can go to he government hospital and ask for help and they will...cause that's their policy.give a treatment and consultation to the patients and it's compulsory although the patient don't have any money, mad,or in the heavy condition sickness/diseases.don't get it worse if you feel uncomfortable.ask for help and please don't be shy to save your life.

My shoulder hurts, whats wrong with it?

On fathers day, I was out playing softball and I haven't thrown for awhile since i played baseball back in 2004.. but anyway, I notice when I roll my shoulders back, my right shoulder hurts (my throwing arm). My sister says I hyper-extended it. But I'm not sure. I can move my arms in any direction except for the one that hurts it. After I roll my shoulders back, and the move my right arm in another direction I hear my shoulder crack or pop. Can anyone give me a clue?

My left shoulder hurts when i move it?

Well it could be the position you sleep. Get a couple of really good soft pillows.

Take some Advil which will both reduce any inflammation and help relax the muscle. Robaxitum will do the same it's for backs really.

Try this too. Wet a small towel, wring it out good, and nuke it in the microwave for 2 minutes till it is good and hot. Put it in a plastic bag and on your shoulder. The moist heat will help. You can use just the towel but make sure it isn't too hot and it will cool fast outside of the bag.

Do one minute of hot and one of cold compress if you can...that helps the inflammation, and is what they taught me to do in physio. It really helps.

And most importantly, don't go doing anything until it's healed or you'll just keep reinjuring it.

EXTREME shoulder pain?

You will need to go to a doctor, but carefully vet who you go to. Shoulder pain like you describe usually means either impingement but more likely rib cage involvement. The popping you heard was likely hypermobility of the joints because prior to working out this was already problematic. The ribs also have to move with the shoulder, as does the clavical. If you do not have proper movement in these areas and you load it up, and if the shoulder was tight and pulled forward prior to doing the exercise, you likely damaged the supraspinatis tendon which is why you can hardly lift the arm.

It is my guess that you have core issues as well which are largely responsible for most shoulder problems as discussed in cheating mother nature, what you need to know to beat chronic pain.

I would recommend visiting a sports certified chiropractor who does some sort of myofascial release such as active release (a style of fascial release). If you damaged the tendon irreparably, they will be able to figure this out for you. The pain is likely just from tendonitis though.

Wrist still hurts after four weeks. Help?

'About two weeks ago, i fell wongly on my wrist while doing a bridge / cartwheel. Later that night, i tripped over a little person. When i fell the third time, i heard a faint crack. Since then, ive had my wrist wrapped in an ace bandage. Its only bruised over the wrist bone, which actually makes no sense. I cant put any weight on my wrist, at all. It hurts really bad.'

^^ that was 4 weeks ago. Since then, I've iced my wrist, and kept it in an ace bandage. But it still hurts badly. I was told that it was a minor sprain at the time, and that it would heal in 2-3 weeks. The pain is more bearable now. But, like I said, it still hurts. I'm starting to think that I may have actually fractured it.

I was just wondering;
1. If I did fracture it, after waiting so long, is there anything that can be done to help it?
2. Would they have to break my arm to set it, to ensure that it heals normally?
3. Is it actually possible that this is just a sprain?

It's been 4 weeks.

Thanks in advance! :) xx

Kneck and shoulder pain?

Your neck muscles tightened up to be giving you those pains now. Where the pain is on the left might even be a spasm in there. To get rid of the pains you have to free up your neck muscles to release the tight and spasmed muscles there and here's how to free them up:
Neck:
Place your hands behind your head so your fingers meet in the middle of your neck. Press into the neck with a moderate pressure and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your head as far as you can, then remove the pressure from the muscles but continue holding your head down for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

You should first find out what’s causing the backache. For this, it is necessary that you visit a qualified physician who can evaluate your condition and tell you the exact cause of the back pain and the appropriate form of treatment to follow.A full postural checkup is recommended to find out if the problem is structural or functional in nature. It would also be a good idea to get your feet assessed for a flatfoot condition – this is when your feet lack a sufficient mid-curve and end up flattening onto the ground completely as you walk. This sets off a ‘domino effect’ on the rest of the body, affecting the functioning of the ankles, knees, hips and lower back – all these end up working beyond their normal range of motion as a result. If confirmed, the regular use of customised orthotics such as MASS4D® can help support your feet in their most optimal posture to encourage normal functioning of the feet and consequently, the rest of the body as well. This helps in reducing any additional stresses on the lower back and promotes proper postural alignment of the entire kinetic chain.Read more about how you can manage your back pain with MASS4D® orthotics here.
