Bruising And Tenderness

Can a pinched nerve cause bruising down the leg?

I've had leg and pelvic pain for the last few weeks and I had an ultrasound and there was nothing wrong, so I started to think it was maybe a pinched nerve, now I'm noticing a couple of bruises down my leg, on the side of my knee and a bit below my knee. Any thoughts? I'm getting kind of scared.

Can a rib be broken if there is no visible bruising?

Most breaks cause focal pain localising to the break ("epicentre").  The pain is usually reproduced or worsened by movement (which you describe).A Chest XRay seems advisable, to rule out secondary damage, and might show the potential break...There isn't much one can do other than pain relief, if uncomplicated.

I'm just wondering... is it possible to bruise your clitoris?

This is a little bit of a weird question...but the other night I was fooling around with a guy, and he was rubbing pretty hard down there. Almost immediately after I noticed a pain..kind of a tenderness. And the day after (as well as today, which is two days after) it feels very bruised and sore/tender when I touch it.
Is it possible he bruised it? And if so, how long will it take to heal etc?

Tetanus shot bruising question?

I had a tetanus shot about six months ago, and it was bruised and extremely painful for several days. The first couple of days after the shot, it hurt to move my arm at all, and then it got to where it was just sore to the touch. It was actually sore to the touch for almost two weeks!

I did some research (read the paper they gave me to start), and did call my doctor's office, just to be sure, but it was normal, just a big pain--literally. LOL She could have warned me, because I thought my arm was going to fall off!

I don't know if you got just a tetanus shot, or the one I got, the Tdap, which was a combination of Tetanus and Diphtheria and something else. Apparently, the Tdap is more painful, though none of them are any fun.

Feel better!!

Bruising after C-Section and Tubal Ligation?

3 weeks ago I gave birth to my fourth child via C-Section. My other 3 children were delivered the same way. Immediately following the C-Section, my doctor performed a Tubal Ligation. After the baby and I came home, I noticed some slight bruising on my abdomen, but the bruising has gotten worse and is black and dark purple. It is also very painful to the touch and certain ways I move make it hurt as well. Is this normal??? Also, is the bruising caused by the C-Section or the Tubal Ligation?

Bruise like pain under cheekbone??

I woke up this morning with a little tenderness just under my cheekbone. I started to put foundation on and it felt almost like a bruise but there wasnt anything there. This is the second time its happened. The first time was on the other cheek. It doesnt really bother me unless im running my fingers over it. And my upper jaw sometimes feels tender. I know sometimes i grit my teeth at night so could this be what its from?? And the skin on the cheek feels a little irritated.

What heals bruises quickly...?

Herridoid cream. Nothing to do with hemorrhoids. Is specifically designed to bring out bruising more quickly and cause the pain to fade within a day.

It's great stuff.

What to do about a swollen bruise on my thigh ?

Ice, Ice and more ice!!!

Slight swelling, bruising, and tenderness around a cut, bite, scrape, or puncture wound is normal. Swelling or bruising that develops slowly over 6 to 12 hours usually means a minor injury. If your symptoms improve with home treatment, do not involve a joint, and are not caused by infection, you probably do not need to have the injury checked by your doctor.

Injury to the skin may also break small blood vessels under the skin and cause more swelling and bruising than you would expect. Rapid swelling or bruising that begins immediately after a skin injury often means there is a large amount of bleeding or that damage to deeper tissues is present. You may need to have a skin injury checked by your doctor if a lot of swelling or bruising occurred within 30 minutes of the injury.

I hope you feel better...

(that was from a doctors advice and facts)
