Bsod Whenever I Play Video Games. Nvidia Driver Problems

[Resolved] Why does my computer crash every time I play a game for more than 5 minutes?

Two likely situations come to mind: One likely answer is that you have an issue with heat. A GPU at idle doesn't produce a great deal of heat, and GPUs run very close to idle doing normal computing tasks (email, web browsing, playing videos.)  When you start to play a game, you put more load on your GPU and it produces more heat. Heat leads to instability and crashes. Check your system for airflow issues, make sure the fans on your GPU are spinning, clear any dust with canned air.  If it isn't heat, the next likely cause that springs to mind is electrical. If you are putting more load on your GPU than your Power Supply can provide in a stable way, it can become a cause of system instability. Make sure your PSU is rated for the load your GPU are putting on the system.  Finally, the stock answer: Double check that you're using the most up to date drivers for your GPU. You'd be amazed what a driver update can resolve.  If none of those things work, let me know and I'm happy to probe further.

Graphics drivers crashing, x116 BSOD?

This happens after I install the drivers for my video card. I recently purchased a MSi Radeon R7 265, and it was working flawlessly for the past three days. Yesterday, however, during the middle of a game, my screen froze and went black during the middle of a game. I restarted, and ever since then, whenever I go to open any program, whether it's Firefox, Chrome or some game, my screen will freeze, go black, then reappear with the notification that "AMD driver has failed and been restarted successfully".

This will happen three or four times, but sometimes afterward it will give me a BSOD, citing the x116 error, "attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed." Upon reading my BSOD dumpfile, the offending file seems to be atikmpag.sys, dxgkrnl.sys, and dxgmms1.sys.

I've tried installing several different drivers -- the ones from my CD, latest available to AMD, the beta drivers, and even some previous drivers, all to the same effect.

Why do I get a specific BSOD on Windows 10 on only ONE game?

How to fix my BSOD dilemma?

I'm Running a Qosmio x775 with an nvidia gtx 560m 8gig Ram. I was tabbed out from playing dishonored when I got the first BSOD. Now everytime I try to play a game I get a Blue screen. I have tried clean installs of many versions of the nvidia drivers including doing driver sweeps everytime, tried a system restore and nothing seems to work. Any help would be much appreciated. here is a who crashed log of the last occurance they all read exactly the same so no point in posting more than one.
