Same is valid on your return ticket ticket PNR, so effectively you can stay for 4 nights at the railway retiring rooms itself. (make sure you book AC room) Lodges / budget rooms can be found across the metropolitan, it'll more depend on place you have to visit. you need at least 10k for a respectful living. eating out is cheap and street eating is not a problem usually, if possible use the local train for travel within city, most convenient and cheapest means of getting around. auto better known as rickshaw there are genuine & go by meter.
