Budget Muscle Car Build

Where can I buy muscle cars in India?

Sadly, in India, the options are rather very limited. The right choice for you would be Ford Mustang. However, if you see, Ford Mustang doesn’t really fit in the category of muscle car adequately. Bearing a rather classic appearance which doesn’t exude a rugged and vintage feel, it seems like a generic version of the real muscle cars. But in India, that’s the best you can get. Ford Mustang costs anywhere between 65 lacs and 75 lacs, depending on where you’re purchasing it from!Personal suggestion is that if you’re really looking for a power muscle car, like we see in the movies (yes, talking about Fast and Furious movies), and if you have that kind of big money, you should rather import the car from some different country. Go for Dodge Challenger SRT Demon—it’s a complete beast. Or if you want to turn heads on the road, Plymouth Road Runner is the best choice. You will simply fall in love with it right in the first glance.Remember, importing cars from other country will come with 100 percent duty, which is insane. But then again, if you have the money, why not go for a piece that out-stands you even in the crowd of muscle car owners?!Which muscle car should I buy in India? And where to get it?

If you had no budget and you could only buy 4 cars for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Okay, let’s see…BMW 4 Series Convertible: I mean, it actually has a decent MPG, along with some other cool extra add-ons, but I really want a convertible for some reason.Tesla Model S: Okay, obviously electric cars are getting more popular. It’d be nice to have one. It’d be nicer to have one that’s a luxury car.Toyota Prius: I’d have a car that’s fuel efficient and a hybrid. Also, standing out in traffic isn’t always a good idea. Neither is bringing a car to school that would obviously have something happen to it.Well, I already have all of the cars listed here that I would ever need/want, so…Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Supersport: I'm pretty sure that this is still the fastest car on Earth. Sure, I'd almost never drive it, but imagine if I could get a really long road, and then then experience going hundreds of miles an hour. Well, hundreds of miles an hour at ~8 miles a gallon. So, I have a car I want, another car I want, a car that’s not a “steal me” sign, and the fastest car ever.Although, I'm still only 14. I wouldn’t be able to drive any of them.

How can I build my own 1960-1970 era muscle car?

I find it amazing that anyone would actually want to build such a car from scratch. Now from memory the 1960 Muscle Cars had No Power Steering and No Power Brakes and a Two speed Auto or a Three speed Manual Transmission. They never had Radial Tyres but had tube type tyres and lots of Grease Nipples and they leaked oil on the driveway so always park them somewhere on the grass. They had a Gas Guzzling Carburettor fed Engine that was a bitch to start because it would “Flood” if you used the choke or pumped the gas pedal and certainly would not start unless you did. It comes with a bench seat in the front which was at best Bloody Uncomfortable. There was no Insulation or sound deadening between the driver and the Engine and as there was No Air-conditioning either it was very hot and noisy in summer and cold and noisy in Winter. You won't need a radio or sound system as you will never hear the thing above the Noise from the Engine. It won't burn Unleaded Gas either so are you really sure that you want to go down this road.I doubt if the authorities will allow you to use this sort of vehicle on a Public road as your Normal day to day Car because the registration and insurance will be very costly as well. So are you planning this venture as a way to get rid of some excess Cash or do you have a Genuine interest in restoring and showing some of the handiwork from another era. Maybe join a Club and read a few magazines and attend a few Motor-Shows and talk and Listen a lot to what others are doing or talking about. Maybe learn how to do amazing “Paint Jobs” and pin-striping and air brushing and make a career of working on other peoples stuff first.

What is cheaper to build for Performance an Import or a Muscle Car?

Lets not start an argument over Import vs Muscle. I happen to like both just Imports a little more.
The reason I asked the question is for my Honors class to finish my summer assignment I had to do a compare and contrast research assignment. One of the question I chose is cost, so I need a cited source about which is cheaper to build Imports or Muscle?
I was thinking Import since my Subaru was pretty cheap to get Horsepower out of it all I do was put on a turbo and a new intake and I am running in the high 11s but a few people I talked to said Muscle but most of the muscle cars that I see are running 11s have just about every performance part done on there engine.
Which is cheaper Import or Muscle?

What kind of muscle car is easy to fix up?

My dad and i are trying to make some memories by getting either a camaro, mustang, or a challenger and just change a couple things to make it our own. It needs to be safe enough for my mom to let me drive though and she thinks anything pre 2000 is unsafe

How much does a classic muscle car cost on average?

Classic muscle is a pretty large umbrella. We’ll take one such car, a 1967 Malibu. Depends on what general shape is it in as to how much you need to invest in it.Is it a restomod, where the finished product won’t be true to the original (say, an LSX engine in place of the L79 327)? Is it being restored to showroom condition as it existed when it was originally built?Does it have a lot of rust on it that needs dealt with (i.e., new floor pans, new quarter panels, etc)?Depending on how much you put into it and what it could wind up being worth - generally there is not much money to be made on selling a classic that you’ve restored yourself. In many cases, you lose.Your freshly restored 1967 Malibu might now be worth $25k, but you may have $28k invested. The rabbit hole gets deep. I guess the question to ask yourself is what you plan to do with the car afterward. Same car, you can slap maybe $6k-$8k at it and have something that’s daily driver quality that can net you perhaps $10k when you’re all said and done. It won’t win any awards though.
