Building A Desktop Need Help

Can someone help me build a gaming desktop pc?

i5 3450 CPU - http://goo.gl/7Re5i $175
Gigabyte GA-B75-D3H - http://goo.gl/kGM6x $75
Thermaltake V4 Black edition - http://goo.gl/4QcRM $45
CX430 - http://goo.gl/nJu2L $40
Gigabyte 7850 - http://goo.gl/Xkq5u $175
1TB WD Blue - http://goo.gl/P1Ajd $80
DVD Drive (If you dont have one) - http://goo.gl/WZ5WB $18

That would add up to about $608 (Only 590 if you move your old DVD Drive over). However, if you were planning to get another card and crossfire (ie. dual cards), I would recommend the cx600 instead of the cx430 @ $75 (http://goo.gl/v1Xz2).

The Windows 7 isos (which can be burnt to disc) are available here: http://goo.gl/jlX2a.

If you are really short on cash, the i3-3220 is still decent for gaming, but is not very good at multi-tasking, and is only $130 as opposed to $175 (http://goo.gl/WZ5WB), which will take the total cost down to $573 (or $555 if you use your old DVD drive)

This computer would easily handle DayZ and GTA V. Good luck and merry christmas :)

Do you need a chipset to build a desktop?

Dude, you probably shouldn't be building a computer.

How hard is it to build a new desktop?

Actually it is not hard. It will take you an hour for the first time. If your first time ever might need a help of a technician or person done this before.Basically you need hardware:Computer case - the case (usually power supply is included)Motherboard - The heart of the computer with all appropriate slots, extensions and plug ins for every other parts to be installed (plugged in). Instruction manual for installing a motherbouard comes together with it along with drivers needed. Have to plug some tiny connectors on propriate slots, set jumpers and so on to work properlyPower supply (usually comes already mounted in your PC case). DON’T CONNECT TO POWER but have to plug in into mother board. This is a last step when installing . Once again: DON’T CONNECT TO POWER before everithing else is plugged and connected.CPU (and cooler) - installing appropriate CPU supported by the motherboard. Installing a cooler for the CPU. Applying termal conductivity paste before putting it over the CPU is very important.RAM - install RAM. Faster and larger is better but depends what types are supported by the matherboard.Hard drive (or SSD). HDD for capacity, SSD for speed. If can, buy and install both.Video card (or onboard) - if need better graphics and want to play latest gamesEthernet and internet connection - this is actually onboard chip that came built in on the motherboard itself and no installation requiredOptical disk drive (optional but may make things easier) - good old DVD drive/recorderI/O devices : monitor, keyboard, mouse, web cam, printer, card reader …and software:OS (Operating System) is the one that makes your computer run. Whether it is Windows, Linux, IOS, Android or some else this is minimal essential set of tools (programs your computer needs to work and do something)Drivers - all modern OSs have the drivers preinstalled or able to install them automatically from internet. In very rare cases a device may not work properly so you’ll have to install a correct driver manually.Programs / apps - this is where the fun begins :) depending of the purpose and what you need to use your computer for. This would be all. Check Youtube for tutorials and search a bit on your piece/s of hardware, reviews and troubleshooting.

Can anyone help me build a Strong Desktop PC for High End Gaming?

Okay. If you are planning to buy AMD processor and Graphics card, I would suggest below listed components.Processor - AMD FX 8350/8320Both of these processors are pretty decent and have enough power to handle games for upcoming 2-3 years, if coupled with good GPU. The only difference between 8320 and 8350 is the base clock. 8320 runs on a base clock of 3.5 GHz and 8350 runs on a base clock of 4.00 Ghz. You can overclock the 8320 upto 4.00 Ghz, if you planning to save around INR 3000. Now, it gets tricky here, you are going to need a really powerful motherboard to be able to overclock the processor. I would suggest MSI 990 FXA to get the full juice out of your CPU. Otherwise if you are not planning to overclock or anything then Gigabyte GA-78LMT should suffice for 8320, it comes in half the price of MSI motherboard.Graphics Card - MSI AMD/ATI R9 270X GDDR5It is the BEST value for money GPU currently available in the market, it absolutely won't bottleneck your CPU, and you can expect every game to run at ~40FPS on high/ultra settings in 1080p. No competition here. After getting all these, don't forget to get Corsair Vengeance 8GB ram! Works fine! Now, for PSU I would recommend nothing less than 600 watt, as your CPU and GPU are going to consume a lot of power, (yeah, it's AMD, so it's obvious!). Best one in this category is corsair VS 650, arguably the cheapest 650 Watt PSU you could find in the market. Now, as far as Cabinet is concerned I would recommend Cooler Master K281, it has 2 fans, and keeps noise and temp. at reasonable level. Now, you don't necessarily require an extra cooler, but if you are trying to keep the temperature minimum (and these don't burn a hole in your pocket either, so it's good to have one :D), I would suggest Cooler Master xtra flo cooler.Happy Gaming!
