Bumper to bumper warranty?

Warranty does not cover things that you damage, insurance covers that. bumper to bumper warranty covers parts and labor if something should naturally break or go bad during the warranty period, it does not cover damage done by the owner. Call your insurance company. For instance if your window wouldn't roll up or down, warranty would cover to have it fixed. Warranty covers stuff like that, not damage

What is a bumper-to-bumper warranty?

A bumper to bumper warranty means that everything that is part of the drive-train(engine , transmission) , electrical , airbag system, suspension and others are covered, the exceptions are the wear and tear parts and the maintenance.
However, you should be aware that Hyundai has a 100,000 or 10 years warranty only for the original owner, the second owner gets 70,000 or 7 years only, no matter what, it is still one of the best coverage on the market.
My final suggestion is to ask as many questions as possible , so that you know what your coverage includes, do not fall for the bullshit of a salesman or a mechanical ad-visor, if it's not written on the warranty paperwork, it is not included.
good luck.

Is a serpentine belt covered in most bumper to bumper warranties?

I have a 07 Toyota Corolla S and the warranty runs out in June. the belt is cracking and slipping and I have a suspicion that the tensioner may be weak as well. I've heard mixed opinions about what is covered in the warranties, have any of you had any troubles with warranty on so-called "wear and tear" parts?

Does bumper to bumper warranty cover for damage?

Need more information…typically any warranty covers failure due to defective design or construction…something breaks that “shouldn’t”. But if the part that breaks causes damage to something else, then perhaps the warranty will cover that. It just depends…

Would you get the extended 3 year bumper to bumper warranty on a new car?

no.waste of money.Insurance is one thing.'extended warranty' is an oxymoron.Manufacturer X builds a car that has x flaws per thousnd that roll off the production line.Manufacturer Y builds a car that has y flaws per thousand that roll off the line.Manufacturer X has 'extended warranty' that covers car from bumper to bumper from years three to 6 of ownership.Extended warranty then is for those rare cars that have a latent flaw, that has not been discovered in the first 90 days.If there is a part or product that does not last the first 3 years, how good do you think the replacement is going to be?Now, wear and tear are a different matter. So, fro years 3 through 6, you have pre-paid for three years money that could be used to reduce your payments. What if nothing breaks in years three to six? What are the common things that do break in years three to six.?What about years six to sixteen? what do you expect to fall apart? This is where the 'extended warranty' falls on its face. Why not have permanent warranty?Oh, you bought a Tesla!what a concept.Have a permanent rental car.Why bother with 'ownership' in the first place.Lease for three years , then get a new one.

Would my bumper to bumper warranty cover the labor required if water was in my gas tank?

LMAO!! not laughing at your situation, laughing at some of the answers! Of course the auto manufacturers cannot be liable for fuel you put in your car. It would be no different if you filled the oil pan up with water and locked your engine up. Your warranty covers only manufacturing defects.
To put your mind at ease, have the shop obtain a fuel sample (from the fuel rail) in a clear bottle, then let it sit for an hour or two. Water and fuel will separate out, with the water on the bottom. Then you can see the evidence for yourself.
If you do have water, then contact the station you bought the fuel from. Most reputable stations will back up their fuel, especially when they have a bunch of other customers with recent problems. It is a well known fact that almost every underground fuel tank has water and debris in it.
Lastly, maybe in the 60's and 70's could you put a hose in the tank to siphon out the fuel. Not today's vehicles. Most have check valves in the filler neck that prevents hoses from being pushed down into the tank. Even if you could, what would you do with the bad fuel once you got it out? And don't let anyone talk you into dumping a bunch of "fuel cleaners' or "alcohol" in your tank unles you want premature fuel pump failure. Your best bet is to bite the bullet, let the shop do their work, and get your vehicle fixed right so you can get to work and make a living.

Is my taillight "lense" covered by a bumper to bumper warranty?

Warranties cover defects in material or workmanship. They do not cover damage or abuse. A broken tail light would fall under the damage, and may be covered under your collision insurance, but will not be covered under warranty.

Score one for your boyfriend!
