Business Development Associate Course Italy

How long it takes to get Child Development Associate (CDA) certified?

In order to get a CDA you must complete 120 hours of training, a Resource File, an Observation, a written test and an oral test. This usually takes anywhere from 6 months to a year, depending on how you get the 120 hours of training and how the CDA program you work with is designed. You must also have 420 hours working in the field before you can be assessed. Go to cdacouncil.org for more information. As to cost, how much you pay for training depends on where you get that training. There is $325 fee for the Council assessment which includes the testing and a review of all your paperwork and the Resource File. See if there is something like a Child Care or Day Care Council in your area. They should be able to help you get information on local programs that offer the training and observation and may know of scholarship money. Avoid doing it on line. It is easier and more meaningful when you have a group to work with in person.

What does an Associate Account Strategist at Google do?

That was my first position when I joined Google. It's a Customer Support team. So most of the time you will spend answering customer's questions on AdWords/AdWords Express/Analytics/Merchant Center etc. Of course you will be properly trained to do that. You will also be required to do "more" for customers: telling them about features they are not using, checking if their account is settled correctly or if there's a way to improve results (all this proactively from your side). You will have shifts (phone shift, chat shift, email shift, hangout shift) when you will need to be at desk (so it's not very flexible). Besides that there will be time for team meetings, office updates, trainings. After working for some time (usually at least 6 months) you can get an extra role. You apply on all the roles on your own based on your preferences. For example you can decide to specialize in some specific areas of the product. That means you will be responsible for the knowledge level of the team, you will train your peers on that area, suggest improvements. You can become the one who checks the quality of your teammates (so you control if they answer correctly on the questions and follow all procedures). You can become the one who controls main metrics and settles a schedule for each person (when they will have shifts). The longer you work, the more interesting things you start working on. After a year you most probably will have your own project on improving something (anything you find on your own and want to drive changes to). That's an entry position in Google. So it opens pretty nice opportunities to move to many other teams afterwards.
