omg don't result to self-mutilation for a couple of days off school!!!! If your unhappy with school make sure you talk to someone, or if ur just the typicall kid who just doesn't like it then suck it up coz once you leave school there will be much harder things to deal with in your life.

look at yourself and Smile in the mirror. is it noticeable? if so try applying dark-colored lipstick like dark purple, blue or red lip stick on your lips (around, not on the wound) the mouth is the fastest healing part of your body. you will be suprised how east it heals and goes away. it may not even be there tomorow. also consider black lipstick. get the scab real wet and rip it off. (the dark scab is a protective shell) ripping off the protective scab may make the wound MUCH LESS NOTICEABLE. so long as it does not bleed profusly. if i were you i would rip the scab off. it should not bleed bad. any it will be practically invisible for your school picture tomorow.

Waking up with bloody and busted lips?
Yesterday morning I woke up with a busted lip that obviously occurred over night. This hasn't happened in over 6 months, I use to wake up with really bloody lips that were often busted and scars inside the cheeks of my mouth where I apperently would chew throughtout the night. This usually only happened when I was high on my prescription medicine for mono ( NO i was not abusing the medicine), but for some reason it happened again all the sudden. I haven't taken the medicine or anything like it in over 6 months, but the busted lip started again. Does anyone know what this could be from and how to stop it...its causing alot of pain. Well, it may be just the healing process. If it smells and drains, you need to take him to the doc, but if it looks like it is just trying to scab, then a little neosporin wouldn't hurt, if you can keep him from licking his lips. Yellow can be normal, but runny discharge and smelly discharge is not.
