Is it safe to look at porn on a Linux computer?
lol this is a funny question. I was curious if it is safe to look at porn on a linux computer? I recently installed linux because I heard it was more secure than a windows computer, and I also like the extra customization features that windows lacks. Anyways I've always done it with a windows computer and not a linux, I'm new to linux and was wondering how many porn viruses there might be for a linux computer? I've always sort of had a problem with viruses with a windows computer, so what about linux?
What Linux Distro do most companies use?
There is a wide adoption of Linux operating system by companies of any size. The most used and required Linux Distribution in terms of server deployment currently is RedHat Linux followed by CentOS ( see Source(s) below ). One of the main reasons for this is that RedHat provides a paid support subscription. CentOs is a free version clone of RedHat. Keep in mind that you still cannot disregard a MS Windows administration to add to your resume as Linux Admin since the chances are still too high that you will require both Linux and Windows skills. In terms of desktops, Ubuntu has its lead currently.
Shipping computer parts to germany?
I want to donate a $80 CPU & Motherboard to a Linux developer (German Citizen) that does not have a EFI/UEFI motherboard. The developer lives in Germany and I am in the US. I also want to pay the customs duties for him if there might be any on that small dollar amount. He will not resell the product, it will be used to test the Linux in overcoming the Microsoft secureboot lockout problem. Will Fed EX or UPS be the safest method, and can they deal with Taxes he may need to pay? JR
Can I get a Linux job in Australia only with Diploma in Computer engineering and 4 years of experience in Linux administration?
It's tough to get but yes you can try because if you will see the Australian immigration rules they will not give much priorty to diploma holder. Diploma has no value over there.
Is Mac or Windows more popular in Canada?
Windows. Though I personally prefer Mac and others may too, in Canada Windows are more popular as windows comes with 90% of all computers. Whereas Mac’s Operating System only comes with Macbooks. Usually macbooks aren’t too popular because of their prices, as they are usally out of the average families budget range to spend on a laptop.

Who does Hp (computers) use for shipping?
I just ordered a computer from hp.com, and out of curiosity I want to know who they use for shipping (as in Fedex, UPS...ect); I've looked on their website but I can't seem to be able to find it.

Will contributing to Linux kernel offset my bad GPA (~2.8/4) in regard to getting a scholarship for graduate school in Europe or Canada?
I’m in and only really know the US, but I think the question is broad enough for me to provide an answer.Making small, incremental improvements or bug fixes to the Linux kernel is a great thing, but likely won’t get you into a grad program or get you a scholarship. However, if you’ve headed up some major effort (say, ext4), then the situation changes. There’s a huge trend right now of people doing things like running static analyzers (e.g., a lint) on an open source project, fixing a few memory leaks or whatever, then submitting a Pull Request to get the contrib. People caught on to this quickly, and sadly, have discounted open-source submission significantly as a result. If it can be gamed, it will be gamed.Think about doing some work as a postbacc to show improved grades. And get some professional experience! Kernel work will look (or rather, sound) good in an interview.Good luck!
Why are there no laptops or desktop computers that use the Android O/S rather than Windows or iOS?
