If you are the Seller and you want to contact a person who has made a purchase, you can send a message through eBay by going to your Seller Hub, using the drop down menu next to the sale, and choosing Contact Buyer.Alternately, if the matter is urgent you can choose View Sales Record from the drop down and the Buyer’s phone number should be displayed. If a current or potential Buyer has initiated contact, you can reply from your eBay Messages. Click the Reply button in the email notification to get there directly.

Important: How to Contact a Seller on eBay?

Hi!

Two days ago I accidentally ordered a product on eBay.
I didn't pay for it because I didn't even want it (my first days on eBay), so I wanna cancel the order.

Someone told me that only the seller can cancel... but how do I contact the seller?
I don't know how to do it!

Anyone knows?

Thanks!

If someone a cancels an eBay sale and starts contacting me via email and Facebook what can be done about it?

Ignore them, I have never known any buyer who cancels, & who then goes onto try to gain contact via mail or social media to be anything other than trouble, they have their own agenda for wanting to strike up a friendship, I really would recommend that you ignore them. This has happened to me on a few occasions, I remember three buyers becoming more than a nuisance, one who had claimed to want to know more about vintage Christian Dior perfumes becoming so offensive when I did not want to become her new BFF that I had to block her in ebay, ignore her friendship request in FB & have all her mail blocked. Another sending me page after page of never ending mail, it went on for months, later becoming furious when I did not reply immediately, I had to turn my back on her, another becoming the classic foul mouthed buyer from hell when I stopped listening/reading her nonsense .I have also sold to a few buyers where I/we cancelled the sale, for them to have an about turn & repurchase the item, & I can remember NO occasion when this has ended well.

How do I deal with an angry eBay customer?

EBay should have given the customer a last estimated date for arrival. That date is more or less based on your own handling time and the USPS (if you are in the USA and used it) delivery standards.Until that date the customer cannot open an Item Not Received Dispute.Did you use a tracked service? If so, you are more or less okay.Give the customer the date of shipping, the service used and the tracking number. Look up the number yourself and tell the whinger where the shirt was last recorded. Give the probable date of arrival again.Keep an eye on the tracking so you know when it does arrive. If you did not track, refund now, because you can’t win a Dispute. You just can’t. You can tell the unhappy customer that when the shirt arrives, he can return the refund by using Paypal’s Send Money service. It might happen. And lose that 25 days part of your Terms of Sale. It won’t stand up and just turns off customers. Why is your delivery time so long? Can you ship more often? Can your time your auctions so that the end (and usually payment) are convenient for your mail runs?

How do I make sure I won't be scammed buying from eBay?

How appropriate !!! I was just scammed today… I have been warning people that Ebay does not support their sellers but now “we who purchase” are at risk as well. I received an item today that I was charged $50.00 shipping for. I thought this was the “exact” shipping amount. I received the package today and the postage amount was clearly stamped on the label- $ 37.85.. I contacted the seller and explained that he over charged me. He replied with “thanks for the advice”.. I emailed him again and stated, “ you overcharged me for the shipping and owe me $12.15”.. He replied that he did not know how to calculate shipping and charged everyone $50.00 no matter where they lived. I contacted Ebay and they were no help.. I requested a supervisor and she had no clue ( You are either dealing with India or the Philippines when you telephone them ). I was cheated out of the $12.15 in shipping and I had no recourse other than to at least leave bad feedback, but I was cheated by idiots. The seller had the nerve to email me and scold me for leaving him bad feedback, I told him perhaps he needed to learn how to sell properly and calculate shipping. I told Ebay the truth- a few years ago they had 350,000 employees, now the have a few over 14,000.. I truly hope they flush down the toilet. I have been scammed by dishonest buyers and now they don't support buyers either… Shame on ebay ….
