Got my hair cut, now my helmet's too big?
I have the same helmet - and love it. Just have to throw this in here first, but people are talking about those plastic tightener thingys on the back of many cheaper helmets. In fact, those are actually unsafe, because they are usually not padded enough and are too far down your neck. A few lower quality brands (like Troxel) had been sued because the helmets had snapped back, and the plastic adjustor had severed the person's spinal cord. And the hair-up thing is for a few reasons, the first being that it keeps everything neat and tidy, without stray hairs blowing everywhere, giving you a sloppy look. Also, some horses can be idiots, and would blow up with all of the hair flying all over the place. I used to ride a horse that would spook if your jacket was flapping around while riding, and I'm sure that the same could happen with hair. That's what international riders have done for years, and they haven't changed it. If it really compromised the safety of the helmet, it wouldn't be done. Putting your hair up is more or less required in almost every large show circuit around the globe. Anyhow, I'm with you on not buying another. I bought mine new 6 months ago, and it was about $520. Not worth buying another if it's still in good shape. GPA makes spare padding to replace the pieces already in the helmet. You could try buying the kit and adding extra padding, instead of replacing it. Really, though, I would try to call GPA first, and tell them what happened. See if they have any tips to help you - make sure you tell them on no uncertain terms that you WILL NOT buy another helmet, though, because they'll sit there trying to sell you another for a mint of money. They should have some idea of what to do, because they made the helmet and probably have faced similar situations in the past. I dunno if you bought it REALLY recently; if so, you could try to return it. I would grow my hair out, too, if I were you. Good luck!

The best thing to do is purchase you a website. Also, go to one of the hair warehouse online and buy some wigs. Get a mannequin(s) place the wigs that you brought online and take pictures of it. Make sure that the website looks nice though, no one wants to buy from a jacked up looking store.
Can I go to a hair salon and just buy a hair product from them?
This might sound silly, but I'm not sure...My friend told me about this hair product I really want to buy, and she got it from Supercuts after she got her hair cut. Can you go into a salon without getting a haircut or hair color and just purchase a hair product from them? The stuff I want to try is called It's A 10, and I don't think they sell it in drugstores.
