Mutual Funds / Investing Question, Please Assist?

I like Legg Mason Partners Funds (formerly called Smith Barney). I invest in LMP Aggressive Growth, LMP Fundamental Value, and LMP Appreciation Fund. These are known as "3 Fund Approach." Why? Just like you don't want to invest all your money into one stock, you don't want to invest your money all in one mutual fund (even though it invests 25 to 300 different companies). How you want to diversify your money is up to you, but I put about 33% into all.

My dealer is PFS Investments and they don't charge any fees to use their services. You can buy or redeem your shares online. You can check the value of your portfolio anytime online too. Oh yeah, make sure the agent is properly licensed and ask about the complimentary financial need analysis (a very useful financial tool).

Anyway, no matter how you invest, don't pull out if the stock market crashes because you know stock market will always rebound (base on past performance).

Is it good to invest in Paytm money for mutual fund investments?

Nope. Paytm Money is the worst available MF app in the market. I did a huge mistake by investing close to 1.5L and waited for my units for a couple of days which were never allocated after which the transaction was canceled. The error message read failed transaction and money will be credit to your account. Seriously? Money will be credited to your account, when? I haven't got my money in 2 days and paytm money has no customer care team either. They have some fucking bots in place and don't expect anything more than a generic reply saying something like “Your money will be reflected in your account in a few days”, “we apologise for the jackshit that just happened” they copy paste the same message to every question you post. And just saying, the 1.5L that they kept on hold for say a week or so, I could have purchased the funds I was trying to buy, and the 10 days or whatever they are gonna hold the amount, I could have made some money out of it.Paytm money is a scam, it's as useless as paytm marketplace. The director or whoever commented down here, is just trying to justify his fake and unsuccessful product so hard. Go to play store and read reviews or ratings and look at how bad they are. Read all answers here on quora, you can judge paytm Money yourself, about how horrible the app is and how you can Lose a lot of Money and patience, due to no customer care setup. Waiting for some jerk to justify this. Thanks.
