Calculate University Grade

Calculate my university grade so far?

hi, i've just started my third yr at uni and i wanted to calculate whether im on schedule for a 2.1 at the moment.

All my module results are given to me in a percentage:

1st-70% and above
2.1-60%-69%
2.2-50%-59%

etc.

i wanted to know if there was a way to group those percentages together to find the average or something like that. I'd just like to know wot im on course for at the moment if i continue at the same level i have been.

Thank you.

Calculating University Grades!?

Ive just finished my 2nd year at university and scored 57.6%. This accounts for 25% of my final grade.

Next year (accounts for 75% of final grade), what will i have to score to achieve 60% or 70%?

These grades account for a 2.1 or first degree in British universities.

How does university of Phoenix calculate the grades?

Finding out how The University of Phoenix (axia) calculates the grades is about helping myself to per-calculate what I need to get on the remainder of my present class in order to raise my GPA and to make sure I pass my class.

If you answer this question please answer seriously because i take my school work seriously and I'm trying to make sure I stay on my game in these course plus I've already got enough of the run around with the instructors and advisers.

How is SGPA calculated in Amity University?

Hello! Are you a student of university? If yes, then refer ‘Student’s Handbook’. And if you are not a student, then I should tell you that Amity University has some mathematical formulae to calculate SGPA and CGPA. Well, I am bad at maths. So I never understood these formulae.See, I never understood these formulae. I tried once. And failed \U0001f602. I never tried again. I always kept it simple. Just study and score marks. That's it. You can try if you want to. Good luck.Thanks.

How is CGPA calculated in KIIT University?

Each subject is assigned a credit and you get points as per your marks out of 100.Say for >= 90 you get 10>=80 you get 9 and so on..Now SGPA = Summation of (Credit * points achieved) for all the subjects divided the total number of credits assigned for that semester. And CGPA is calculated by taking average of the SGPAs for different semesters.Refer to the attached pic for details. As far as I know there is no relative marking system followed but I would advise to confirm once with the faculties.Keep good marks in Mid semesters and it would be easy to score well..Hope it helps.. :)

How is SGPA calculated in Assam University?

As an alumni of Assam University I can tell you the older procedure of calculating GPA (Grade Point Average). I don't know if the system has been changed. So for calculating GPA in a semester, they take the marks student got from sessional exam(the marks he got from class test, assignment etc.) and add that with the mark he got in end term exam. The total mark is out of 100 and the grade point for a subject is calculated by dividing the marks scored by 10. So for example if the student scored 65 out of 100 then his grade point will be 6.5.Then comes the step of calculating total grade point for the subject. This is done by multiplying the grade point of a subject by credit points. So what is credit point? It is the point the student get from attendance. Maximum credit point is 5, so if your attendance is 100% then you will get 5 credit points. Now comes the final step of obtaining the GPA for the semester. The GPA is calculated by adding the total grade point(for all the subject) and divide that by total credit points earned by the student on all the subjects.Hope the answer will be helpful to you.PS: I have uploaded an image of the formula used.

I'm from Mumbai University. How can I calculate my CGPA?

Here we go. I am a MU student of mechanical engineering. Well this is for CBSGS Curriculum. I don't know much about new CBCGS. But I am pretty much sure that the grading system is same just students have been given freedom to chose coursesI observed results of 2-3 colleges and get to the conclusion of the following tableSo this is how you can calculate your SGPA (Semester Grade Point Aggregate)Lets consider you have 75 marks in any subject out of 100Then refer this chart Accordingly your marks lies between 75-80 hence the grade A will be assing to you which has 9 grade pointSo in this sub you have earned 9/10 And same is for termwork and external assesments So lets consider that you have the termwork as well as practicle examination of the same sub mention above of marks 25 and 50 respectivelyAnd you earned 22/25 and 41/50So now refer the table and you will get that you are above 20 in termwork so the grade is O and you will get 10 GP(Grade Point)So you get 10/10 in termwork as well as In practicle exanination you have 41 viz above 40 hence you will be assing O grade and 10 GPSo now total grade points you have is9 in theory, 10 in TW(Term work) and 10 in practicleNow if you refered your syllabus you will noticed that there are credits assing to each sub likeThe above mentiones sub have 4 credits for theory 1 for termwork and 2 for practicleNow multiply by 4 to your theory GP= (9×4=36)multiply by 1 to termwork GP-(10×1=10)Multiply by 2 to practicle GP-(10×2=20)And finally add this allI.e 36+10+20=66So you earned 66/(40+10+20)(40+10+20 is because this indicates the total credits given by universtity)Now you have earned 66/70 creditsYour Gpa for this sub is(66/70)×10=9.42So this is for one subYou have to calculate the credits you earned in all subThenSGPA=(total credits you earned/total credits given by university)×10I.eSGPA=((66+x+y+z)/(70+x'+y'+z'))×10And the final CGPA= All 8 sem SGPA/8And for diploma students its 6 instead of 8CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point AggregateHope you will understandAnd correct me if I am wrong.
