I am assuming you are talking about a scientific calculator because with a normal one, it's not possible. I will use a Casio fx-991 ES to demonstrate.This is how the calculator looks.Now, I will give step by step instructions for basic algebra calculations using a calculator.Linear equationsFinding values using linear equations is one of the easiest tasks. Step 1- Type in the equation. For typing the variable, x in this case, press the alpha button and then press the bracket button ")". For equal to sign press alpha + the button which has calc written on it. Step 2- Now press shift+calc and you will get this on your screen. Step 3- Now, just press the "=" button and you will have the value of x. Simultaneous equationsThe simultaneous equation solved here would be in the form of ax+by=c.Step 1- Press mode setup and then press 5. Then press 1. After doing that, you will get this screen.Step 2- Just enter the values a,b,c for both equations.After typing the value for a press = button for inputting next value. Also, if there is no value for a and the equation only has the variable without any coefficient, then input 1 for such a case. Remember, if its -x for example, then input -1.Step 3- Now, just press = button once for the value of x and another time press it for the value of y. Quadratic equationEquations in the form ax²+bx+c=0 can be solved using this method.Step 1- Repeat step 1 of the previous instruction ie simultaneous equation. Instead of pressing 1,press 3 this time. Sorry for the late answer,Here’s what I do to check if a Casio calculator is genuine or not:-Press 7, On and Shift and the same timePress the number 8If nothing happens, then it’s a fake, if it display something like broken numbers at the screen, then it is an original one.(p/s: This only works on new MS series calculators, to check if it’s a new model or not, try to turn of your calculator, if Casio logo appears, then it’s the new one, if it doesn’t, then it is the older one)

How can I store values on my Casio calculator?
I often use a Casio fx=115ES PLUS. It has what I like to think as 6 hidden memories named A, B, C, D, E, and F and a standard memory for a total of 7 memories. On the Far left of the keys just above the 7 you will see a key [RCL]. Just above the [RCL] button you will see the [(-)] button with a [<] [A] just above it. in that same row you will see more red letters like the A. If you press the [shift] + [RCL] + (one of the letters (A through F)) it will store the number in that memory and to recall that memory press [RCL] + (one of the letters (A through F)). You can also press the [M+] key to store it into the more obvious memory and you see the M up in the screen. To clear the memories you simply press [SHIFT] + [9] +[2] +[=]+[AC] to clear all memories. There are 2 more memories called X and Y that are accessed like the A through F memories but these memories are easily overwritten by the solve feature on my calculator.
How do you do differentiation and/or integration equations using a casio fx-570ms?
to ppl that have told me to check out the manual, i have. thats the problem. it doesnt explain to that extent. there were basic functions only. doesnt even explain how to use the 'solve' button. i had to figure that one out myself. nevertheless i still cant seem to solve differentiation/integration problems. i try a simple made up Q. what is the differentiation of 2x. it should be 2 right? well, here are the input i put in my calculator: shift>d/dx>2>alpha>X>)>shift>solve all i get is a Syntax ERROR which obviously means the way i input is wrong. so can nebody help me with this? sorry if its such a stupid Q. they never teach me at University on how to do it. most probably because im meant to calculate it by manual means. but still, id like to double check of course. thanx a load whether i can the answer or not.
