Calling Back 6 Days Later After You Received A Call From Employer

Do employers call back after interview?

I disagree with the other 2 people who answered. At this point there's no way to tell if you'll get the job or not. Many times employers have more applicants lined up for interviews and they want to wait to make their decision, but that doesn't mean you don't have a chance. If the end of the week comes and you don't receive a call you can call him and say you are still interested in the job and wonder if he's made a decision yet. That will let him know you are serious about working and could give you a better chance of getting the job. The ones not hired won't get a call.

Employer said he will call me back but didn't?

I truly believe I got the job. The boss of three restaurants didn't explicitly tell me I was hired, but he told me what to wear to work, the salary, to memorize the menu, and he gave me a free meal before I left. He also said he will call me SUNDAY to tell me my SCHEDULE, when I asked when to expect the call. He needs to figure out my schedule based on the days I'm free (I'm in college). When I called in the morning today, his son picked up and said that the boss will call me back "later...today." But I haven't received a call yet. Ever since the boss met with me, the "help wanted" sign is gone. What can be happening? I don't want to keep calling, because it can get annoying. I really need this job. Please help.

How long does it take to receive a call from HR after the interview in Capgemini?

It may take a week sometimes. So, i will suggest you to wait for few days. After that you can call the manager.

Can you collect unemployment if fired for attendance?

No, you can't collect unemployment for attendance issues unless you have a documented medical condition. Those are your choice. If you were depressed, you should have gotten counseling. Lots of people are depressed and have bad days, but they still go to work. And since it was once a month, on average, it doesn't match the pattern of a depression. It sounds more like you got upset every time you had your period.

On a side note, you also can't collect unemployment if you are not able to work. So the claim of depression will not work very well.

Edit, okay, I misunderstood. (I thought the period reminded you of the abortion.) Unfortunately, if you didn't seek medical care you can't go the FMLA route. So they had reason to fire you and you will have a tough time with unemployment. YOu can file, they will probably object, you can appeal and just say you were dealing with medical issues that was causing depression. You might win, you never know.

My boss keeps calling me on my days off?

I work in fast good and literally every time I have a day off I get a call either from my boss wanting me to work or someone asking to cover their shift. in all honesty out of all the phone calls I've ever gotten I've only come in once when they asked. I don't usually answer the calls as I know I'm not obligated to but Im starting to think that they don't think of me as a team player. I got a raise last week and I don't want them to think I'm a bad worker for NEVER coming in on a day off.. but I'm honestly so annoyed that im always called at like 7 am on a day off. then they call again an hour later right when I fall back asleep! :(

What is the life of an IT employee after being fired from a company?

Well I'm too young and inexperienced to answer this but still I would like to share my experience.I completed my graduation (BE) in 2016 and had no thoughts about building my career. My field of study was computers so I took up Java training in one of the excellent institutes in Bengaluru (India) recommeded by one my friend. My training was going well. It took 5 months for completing whole Java with 2 projects.Meanwhile I was attending drives but was not clearing the interviews so I was quite frustrated.Later after doing some research on career growth as a software developer engineer, I saw there would be vast growth in Mobile Technology so I developed interest in building apps.I took Android development course in the same institute, a month later after completion of Java, concentrated more on Android learning, the components, procedures, designs etc., Built a small app which boosted my confidence level.Luckily I cleared my 1st interview on Android developer position in a start-up company and got the job there.I joined the company in July 2017, I started working on a project directly, everything was going good for 2 months. We were 9 members in our team or whole company I can say! In different fields like Front end, Php developer, Java, Android(Me) and iOS platform. From second month we didn't get our salary for 4 months. Company people were giving reasons like they are out of money, searching for investors and other shitty reasons, we trusted them as they were giving dates for paying all our dues. Here came this day, November 15th 2017, they had told to pay on this day all our previous dues.He is not manager but a co-founder called us and said we are going to shut the company bcoz of lack of fund. You people have to leave now, we'll call you back when we get enough money and started saying all philosophy about career and all, we were feeling mixed emotions while listening to him.He asked us to officially give the resignation letter.P.S out of 9 I'm the only person live with my parents in the city, others are from different places living from their earnings. And November 15th was my birthday, returned home with no money and job. (One of worst b'day gift)It was birthday to one of the co-founder as well and he didn't come on that day to the office. My concern is about all my colleagues coz without money how will they survive in this city, paying rent, travelling cost etc.,

If you give your 2 week notice and call in sick the next day, is it really that bad?

I just put in my 2 week notice after 6 good years at a company. I became fed up with the more work no extra pay deal.. If I call in sick during my 2 weeks, is it going to affect my leave in a negative way? My common sense says yes, but I just want to see what others think. Heck, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has wanted to do this..
