Calories In 1/10 Of A Cake

How many calories are in a natural sausage casing?

Actually, sausage casing has less than 2 calories per inch, maybe 10 calories for a 6" sausage. And YES THEY DO count the calories in the casing along with the contents. Sausage making has become a controlled science, along with ALL other mass produced food products. You can bet good money that if a sausage package says 4 oz. (when packaged) and 980 calories, it is accurate to within 1/10 of 1%. And buy the way, them are some of the best 10 calories you can eat!
Al Fresco sausages are small (85g) w/ 160 calories each. That's less than 2c/g! But the casing is small, wiener size, and would have <5c. The casing is chewy because there is not enough fat to fry it properly. A radiant heat oven (most modern toaster ovens) would be the only solution without adding extra calories.

Does cake or a cupcake have more calories?

280 cal for 1/10 a package would likely mean that you used the whole package, so it would be 280 times 10 for 2800 for all. Then, count how many cupcakes you made, and divide the 2800 by it. If you only made 10 cupcakes, no math needs done for you at all.

If you divide a cake into 20 equal slices and remove 10 of the slices, as a fraction, how much of the cake is remaining?

How can I cook this cake mix in a 10 inch round spring form pan?

A 9 inch round cake pan is 63.61 square inches. A 10 inch round is 78.53 square inches. (about a 25% increase in area).

The larger area with the same amount of batter will result in a thinner cake and will require a shorter cooking time. I would guess about 20-25 minutes to cook assuming you use the same amount of batter. Start checking the cake at about 20 minutes with the toothpick test (if it comes out clean its done).

I would make a 2 layer 10 inch and deal with a slightly thinner cake or alternatively make more batter If you want the cake to be the same thickness as though you used a 9 inch round then you would need another box of cake mix and you would use 50% of it divided evenly. (or make a 3 layer cake with 2 boxes with the same amount of batter in each layer). If you do increase the batter, the cooking time for the 10 inch will be slightly longer than the 9 inch cooking time.

Eat Yellow Cake Mix Without Eggs...?

I was just wondering... Whenever I make chocolate cake, brownies, or cookies I always love to take a couple bites here and there. I just can't help it, it's so dang yummy! I am craving something yummy and sugary so badly today and my house just so happens to have a box of yellow cake mix, but we have no eggs. My question is, will it taste okay to eat yellow cake mix even without having added eggs to it? Thanks!

How can I lose 50 lbs by April?

Very, very hard to achieve, but if you follow a very, very low caloric diet, it can be done. These are the results of the DIRECT Study done by Professor Lean, Primary care-led weight management for remission of type 2 diabetes (DiRECT): an open-label, cluster-randomised trial who put the participants of his trial on a 830 Cal diet for 6 months. This graph shows you how many participants lost how much weight, and in how many of them their type 2 diabetes went into remission:as you can see in the upper left panel 24% lost more than 15 kg in those 6 months. These people kept to their diet, very, very hard to do, so the others didn’t make it.So if you feel you are able to do a 830 Cal diet for 6 months, it would be doable.I wouldn’t go for their jucky fluid diet preparation, but mainly live off 1 kg of non starchy veggies at just 300 Cal/kg, so no hunger, as soup, or stir fried or in the oven with a little olive oil, plus a few pieces of fresh fruit at 50 Cal each, a small piece (100 grams = 250 Cal) of grilled oily fish, and you’re good, about 800 - 850 Cal./day, If you feel peckish, snacking on stem cellery, tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika helps. All the rest of your usual food would be off limits, of course, so no snacks, sodas, alcohol (calories!), no potatoes/fries/chips/rice/noodles/pasta/yams/corn and other staple food. Do have some moderate exercise > 150 minutes a week e.g. brisk walking to partially prevent muscle mass due to weight loss. All the best!
