Why do people like reaction videos?
I seriously have no idea why reaction videos are so popular. I was discussing the same (about reaction videos) with my brother the other day and his reply was that whoever does not have any real work to do ends up making a reaction video on you tube. Which is true, considering every Tom, Dick & Harry is making one nowadays.Now the sad part: These videos get so many views (therefore revenues in the long run) that it kills the potential of the original content video. I mean seriously what a waste of time, money & intellect. It basically uploads the whole video with all of its A/V content intact and without any copyright infringement issue. It has seriously become a dumb & cheap way to attain popularity.The reason for the popularity of these videos could be the fact that people have become so under confident nowadays that they seek opinion/validity of the likability even for a damn video.Can you really blame those people who are making these videos and getting tremendous views rather than those people who are actually viewing them?

Hi, I'm asking this for my brother. He works as a computer tech. This older couple brought their computer in for him to repair. In working on the computer, he came across a "hidden" file which contained many movies of their 17 year old son having graphic sex with other apparently underage girls. He could also tell from the history that this boy is posting the videos online. So, the question is, should he tell the parents? If it was your child, would you want the computer tech to tell you? And if so, how would you want him to tell you about it?

If I watch a video on YouTube, does the owner of the video see the user who has watched it?
No, the owner of the video has no idea who has viewed it. Same with if you like the video. There is currently no way for creators to see the names of people who viewed or liked the video. Of course, if you comment the creator will see who commented ;)Creators can see how many views a video has, the age group percentages of those views, the geographical (relative to country) location of those views, and and gender of the views. This is not for each individual view, but for all of the views collectively. For instance, if a video has 300 views, and 100 of them came from the USA, it would way 33% USA. If 150 of them were male, it would say 50% male. You get the idea. The creator can also see audience retention for geographical locations and age groups for each video.If you watch a video, there is no way that the creator could know that it was YOU who watched the video, but of course if the creator doesn't get too many views, you live in a less-common country for YouTube, and he is really good at cross-referencing data, the creator might be able to decide that you did watch the video, but there is no way that the creator could say with 100% certainty that you did watch it.

Ok now I am being completely serious with this question and have been dying to know for a long time now if anyone else has come across this.
