A lot of times, the quests in the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series reflect actual quests, except with a modern twist. You can start by looking up Greek or Roman myths, and picking one that interests you. It isn't hard to think of ways you can bring in modern culture and places. Best of luck!
How does thalia get out of the tree on half blood hill?
In the beginning of the second book, Percy is attacked at his school by Laistrygonians, monstrous cannibals. He escapes with a fellow student and goes with Annabeth to Camp Half Blood where Thalia's tree has benn poisoned and the Camp is now vulnerable to attacks. Chiron is suspected of poisoning the tree and so he flees. The replacement for Chiron, Tantalus favours Clarisse and lets her lead the quest to find the Golden Fleece, which can heal the tree. The rest of the story goes on about how Percy and Annabeth sneak out along with Tyson( who is actually a Cyclops and Percy's half-brother on his father's side) to both find the fleece and save Grover who has been missing since the events of the first book. Percy and friends are caught by Luke but Percy tricks Luke by having him reveal that it was in fact himself(Luke) who poisoned the tree and not Chiron. Percy and friends are then saved by Chiron and his brethren. Finally Clarisse, Percy, Annabeth, Tyson and Grover work together to retrieve the Golden Fleece which is put on Thalia's tree at Camp Half Blood. But late in the night, Percy and the other campers are woken up by Annabeth screaming. It was because she saw Thalia lying near the tree. After reaching at the spot, Chiron says something like,, "The fleece worked too well". I think he meant that the Fleece cured Thalia's injuries and made her human again.

What is the Plot and resolution of Percy Jackson the sea of monsters book 2 ?
I'll give you a summary--just cause I LOOOOVEEE Percy Jackson--but if you read it, how come you can't come up with one? Well basically Percy Jackson comes to camp to find that someone has poisoned Thalia's pine tree, which protects the borders of camp. The tree is slowly dying and because of this, the borders of the camp are also in not so good condition. Chiron the activities director is kicked out because he's the primary suspect in poisoning the tree. He's replaced by another guy named Tantalus, who Dionysus--the camp director--seems to appreciate very much. (By the way, Percy and Annabeth HATE Tantalus because he is just the WORST.) In the meantime, Percy finds out that a Cyclops named Tyson is his half-brother. Now everyone--except Annabeth and some of his friends--are laughing at Percy and forever teasing him about having a monster for a brother. One thing leads to another, and Percy, Annabeth and Tyson are on a quest--which they haven't been given permission on--to get the Golden Fleece, which they think is going to heal Thalia's tree and once again bring happiness to camp. After a lot of struggle, Percy and Annabeth (not Tyson, because he sort of got lost and they think he's dead) arrive at the sea of monsters to get their Golden Fleece and rescue Grover, who has been stolen by a Cyclops name Polyphemus. After more struggle, they get the Fleece, Grover and Tyson is found. Then they travel back to camp after even MORE struggle (this series is all about struggle, but I'm just giving you a summary here.) They get Chiron back and in the end, they find that the Fleece worked its magic too well. It not only healed the tree, but it also brought Thalia back to life. Basically that's also the resolution. I'm in the process of trying to write a story within the Percy Jackson universe, but I am having trouble coming up with a good and convincing plot... Does anyone have a good idea? Here are a few requirements though: - Nothing that is overused - Shouldn't require more than four people Needs to be logical!

Leilani's quest -- her real mother was one of Artemis's nymph attendants but she left her service when she fell in love with one of the forresters who maintained Artemis's hunting grounds. Both parents died and A has fostered Lei out of love of them. But she must prove worthy to be A's daughter by capturing ALIVE a Kerynitian Hind (these deer have golden horns and pull A's chariot). In doing so - being brave, strong, skilled in hunting -- she and Leo uncover and avenge her real parents' murder? McKayla is a child of Hera and (like the Goddess) is intensely jealous of others. Her task is to solve the theft of the Silver Sandal of famous Jason of the Argonauts. Remember he lost one while carrying a disguised Hera across a river?? The remaining sandal was gilded in silver and set upon the Altar in Hera's Temple in Argos. Annabeth is helping because Athena wants to do a favor for her step-mom, Hera. Remember the ancient tales - Hera liked Athena but was also PO'ed at Zeus for giving birth to Athena alone. Hera had Hephaistos by herself out of jealousy/competition. Maybe these two girls need to call on their craftiness and craftsmanship for their quest?? YOU tie the two adventures together!! :) Good luck!!
