Can 3d Movies Make You Sleepy

If I am downloading a movie and I put my PC on sleep mode will the download continue?

No, it wont. In sleep mode your computer's processor shuts down, and your RAM is the only "live" component (hence the minimal battery usage). Of course, nothing can go on if your processor is turned off!EDIT: It seems the conciseness of the answer is a bit misleading. Let me elaborate. When  the computer is turned off, the power is completely switched off. When  in sleep, power is still being provided to a few components, like your USB  ports (yes, you can charge your phone keeping your laptop in sleep!), a  few data buses, and the RAM. The RAM is basically the storage space  where your system runs. Even if you want to freeze it, it needs power. And this, is the sleep mode. Clearly, if the RAM is frozen, how can any function go on? The Hibernate feature works by copying the RAM to the Hard Drive and retrieving it back on starting up.

Question about 3D movies?

do they make you tired?

my boyfriend and i went to see a 3D movie last night and at the end of the movie when the lights came on, only about 5 people stood up to leave and those people looked around and over half of the people in the theater were asleep! maybe it was just a boring movie? the 3D glasses were like wearing sunglasses at night...they made everything so dark. could that be why everyone was so tired? even i dozed off to sleep for a minute. i liked the movie..i didn't think it was boring...i just felt like the movie made me sleepy. just wondering if there is something about a 3D movie that makes a person sleepy.

Can 3D movies make you sleepy?

I am a HUGE movie fanatic, and almost NEVER fall asleep in a movie. However, I went to go and see a 3D Captain America movie a few months back, and I fell asleep. It was a late movie, so I thought it was just the late start. The next movie I saw was the next month. It was a 3D Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie in the afternoon, and I did not fall asleep. However, I saw a 2D X-Men Days of Future Past (recommend to see it if not already) movie later on that started later than the Captain America 3D one I fell asleep in, and I did not fall asleep. That was the same with the next movie I saw. But just last week, I went to a late 3D Godzilla movie, and fell asleep again!! I know it was not the movie because from what I saw, it was really good. So was it just the times, or is it the fact that they were 3D?

What movies can you watch all the time and never get tired of watching?

Pulp FictionPulp Fiction (1994)My views: Combination of violence and bold dialogues. Having watched it over 10 times already and can still go more. This is one of the movies which never bore and remains as fresh as when you had watched it the first time. Basic reason for me liking it is basically it’s dialogues and the way story reveals itself leaving you in awe and THE SOUNDTRACK (Addictive AF).Synopsis:The lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption.2. Baby DriverBaby Driver (2017)My views: Style over Substance, well not really. This movie gets you the adrenaline gush you always looked for in a movie, everything’s choreographed on the beat of the background score, be it the chase scene, or people talking in the background, etc. And the soundtrack, perfect choice of the songs in every scene.Synopsis:After being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.3. Gangs of WasseypurGangs of Wasseypur (2012)My Views: One of a kind Indian Mafia style movie. Be it storytelling, acting and soundtrack, all fit perfectly within each scene. *gasp*Synopsis:A clash between Sultan and Shahid Khan leads to the expulsion of Khan from Wasseypur, and ignites a deadly blood feud spanning three generations.A few other movies worth repetitive watch are:La La Land (2016)The Dark Knight (2008) (This is more than a superhero movie and that’s why it’s one of the greatest and fresh to watch every time)Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) (Visually fantastic)Whiplash (2014)The Godfather Trilogy (Except the third part)The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) (Cringe-Worthy and entertaining)Inception (2010)(Even though a heavy on mind to watch)Good Will Hunting (1997)12 Angry Men (1957) (A One room based movie)Goodfellas (1990)Pirates of the Caribbean trilogyPlanet of the Apes Trilogy(2011–2017)PS: Also any movie directed by Quentin Tarantino and Edgar Wright(except Ant-Man where he only got to do the screenplay) is worth multiple watch. These are few of the lot and can watch it all the time and not get bored.

How can I stop getting scared after watching a horror movie?

Yes. I use these two techniques personally. I'm so shit scared that when I need to pee in middle of the night I probably need someone outside the bathroom door keeping a watch for me (just in case those fictional characters were real and would come to kill me at night while peeing. Haha yes, mind doesn't work by logic at night.)Technique No. 1 -So the technique number 1 is to watch it in mute. Unmute when dialogues are being said. But keeping it on mute will allow you to be not that scared when something or someone suddenly appears.Sound effects of these movies make it more scary.Another psychological hack with this is that watching it on mute won't let you completely submerge in the scary atmosphere, you'd be able to differentiate between what's a real world and fiction.Hence, you'd be way more less scared.Technique No. 2 —So this may sound stupid but it works. So be with me here. I use it. It does help.Step 1 - Make your friends or family watch it with you.Step 2 - When you start feeling scared, make jokes on the movie, make fun of it.The psychology behind this is to ridicule it that your brain knows it's not supposed to take the scary movie seriously. And hence, to not get scared.I hope this helped you. Happy Scary-loween!

Can I take my 3 month old baby to movie?

It’s a gamble, but it could go very well!In my experience, it’s a LOT easier to take a baby to the movies than a young child. To be on the safe side, you could stick to a movie that other children will be attending. My infant son slept soundly through all of Frozen, even though I was excited to see how he would react to the movie. As he got a little older, he enjoyed watching other cartoons, but had to be taken out of the theatre for chunks of the movie. The baby’s temperment also plays a role. If they’re generally a calm, happy baby, your chances are better than if you have a highly reactive, noisy, or fussy infant.Movie timing could impact the outcome as well. Theatres aren’t always quiet, but they are dark, and some movies are quieter than others. Planning for naptime or bedtime could help your baby sleep the entire time…or could interrupt their schedule and cause havoc. You won’t know for sure which outcome will prevail until you’re already there, unfortunately. You could also try for a time when the theatre is less crowded.I’ve heard that some movie theatres used to have “cry rooms,” where mothers could take their babies and still watch through a large, soundproof glass wall and listen through speakers. I wish those still existed!

Am I the only person tired of every movie being released in 3D?

There are some movies that benefit from 3D, and others that don't. One of the things to remember is that in order for the studio system to get theater chains to change over to digital cinema from 35mm they used 3D as the motivating factor.  The studios wanted this as it saves them millions every year since they no longer have to pay 3000$ per film print, now they can spend 80$ on a hard drive that can be used over and over again.  They've also saved millions on shipping as a 50 lb film print cost significantly less than a 5 lb hard drive.  These savings didn't sway theater owners as it didn't effect their bottom line and a 35mm setup cost a quarter to a third of the digital setups they now use... and a well maintained 35mm projector could run 50 years, while you'd be lucky to get 10 years out of a digital projector without major over hauls and parts replacements, so theater chains were reluctant. When digital 3D movies began rolling out there was no 35mm setup that could provide the 3D tech (a couple of 35mm systems came out later, but were still depended on the studios making special prints in order for this to work... and the studios were more interested in getting chains to change over rather than accommodate the older tech) so the studio line was if you want 3D I guess you'll have to change over to digital.  Now that the digital rollout is complete and almost everyone has changed to digital, the studios have continued to make 3D products because they had committed to using that as means to force the digital rollout.

Did I see a Chuzzle wearing pair of 3D glasses in my Chuzzle Game?

I have had the game Chuzzle Deluxe, for a long long time, and I have only seen this twice before, where all of a sudden, one of the chuzzles is wearing a pair of 3D glasses. I popped it, and nothing special happened.

What was that? I have looked at all the websites with tips and tricks and codes. I know how to make them Tickle, Sneeze, Burp, other tickle, Get mad, fall asleep, cheat to get all the trophies, get the BeJewled game, and all of those other tricks...

But all of the searching I have done does not mention anything about chuzzles wearing glasses of any type. Has anyone else seen this, or know what it means, or how to intentionally make it happen again?
