Can A 18yo Or 19yo Adult Son Marry His Dad If They Consent

Do parents still have control over you when you turn 18 if you live with them?

No. Depending on where you live, once you pass a certain age, you are technically an adult. It’s 18 in most places. That having been said. If you’re still living in a house owned by another person, they can have a say over certain things. You can’t tear out the lawn, for example, and replace it with a rock garden without the owner’s permission. But that’s not what you mean by your parents having control. If you are living rent free, it’s kind of hard for you to argue against their continued interference in your life (who you should speak to, what you should do with your free time, etc). After all, it is their house, you’re their child, and they’re still paying for the roof over your head.Legally, certainly, you might have a case. My suggestion, if you can’t afford a place of your own, then offer to pay them rent, and demand an actual lease agreement. You will pay “x” per month, and they will act as landlords. Since, in all likelihood you will have to use the same kitchen and laundry facilities, include usage of these facilities as well. Basically, what you want to show your parents is that the only reason you’re still living with them is that you can’t afford your own place (incidentally, in today’s economy, that’s not a bad thing). Show them that you are willing to take an adult role in the household (dishes, laundry, maintenance, etc), and in exchange, you want them to treat you as an adult. All of that having been said - there’s nothing wrong with listening to what your parents have to say, and regardless of a lease, if you’re in the same room with them (or if they have your phone number), they’re going to tell you what they think (trust me, I’m 43, live a continent away and my mom still tells me what she thinks). And that’s fine. After all, your parents have been your age before, and they are likely to have decent advice for problems you might be facing. Just remember, you are and adult now, and you don’t have to listen to them if you don’t want to.As an addendum, my mom is still right, most of the time, even now.

19 year old girl dating a 43 year old man?

After putting aside that stereotype that follows even the most descent men when they turn 40, it's alright. Yes the age difference is big and you may not even get along because your points of view may be different due to the age difference, but if you can trust this guy and can get along with him, then there is nothing wrong with it.
But the society we live in especially in the US doubts such a man and his intention and usually assumes the worst, but nature has nothing against age difference so as long as you two can get along and ignore other people that decide to make their opinions apparent.

People throughout history have married with such an age difference and lived. People still marry with such big age difference and live. So yes, its okay as long as you have no doubt.

Can a 13 year old date a 19 year old?

No. Because you are barely a teenager—still a child both maturity-wise and in the eyes of the law—and he is an adult. He may be a teenager, but he is so much older than you (six years is a lot of growth and change in the teen years).Listen, I’m 19, about to turn 20. My boyfriend is 29. This is a very large age gap. I am not here to judge you for an age gap of six years, nor am I here to tell you that there’s anything wrong with age gaps in general. But I am here to tell you that at your age, he is too old. He is much too old. When you’re older—when you’re an adult—that six-year age gap will be okay. I was eighteen when my boyfriend and I started dating. I was not a child. I was an adult woman. When I was thirteen, he was 22. I would not have dated him. It would have been super inappropriate. It’s the same for you and this guy—even though he’s still a teen. Listen, nobody my age should be dating somebody your age. It’s practically pedophilia. I know you feel all grown up and stuff because you’re a teenager now, but he is too old for you. What’s he doing with somebody your age? Why can’t/won’t he date someone his own age—is he undesirable to women his own age, or is he looking for someone young he can easily manipulate? I don’t know your situation—he could be a genuinely good person who genuinely likes you—but for most adult men seeking to date barely-teenaged girls, there’s usually something fishy going on. You aren’t even in high school yet probably—14 or 15 is the usual age of most high school freshman—and this guy is probably in college or working, either way he’s out of high school by now probably (high school seniors are generally 17 or 18). He is too old for you. Wait five years before dating him. You’ll be 18, he’ll be 24. If he’s stuck around all that time for you, you’ll know he’s really the one to date.

Can a 16 year old date a 19 year old in TN?

Tennessee: In a statutory rape case in Tennessee, the age of consent is 18. The stance of the state of Tennessee on the age of consent is "Statutory rape is sexual penetration of a victim by the defendant or of the defendant by the victim when the victim is at least thirteen (13) but less than eighteen (18) years of age and the defendant is at least four (4) years older than the victim." {Full text of TN statutory rape laws [58]} Tennessee law does not give clear directions for cases in which both parties are below age of consent.
So, according to this, if you have sexual relations, you can only be charged if you are 4 years or more older.
