Can A 4 Year Old Go Thru Puberty Without Showing

Can a 12 year old boy go thru puberty?

Absolutely. As soon as your voice starts changing, that's the onset of male puberty. By the age of 14, you'll start with heavier facial hair, pubic hair, and the rest of our body hair will begin to get a little thicker. Other bodily changes start either before or after this point.

For more info, go looking on the internet - there's TONS of info there!!!

Is my 9 year old going through puberty?

My daughter complained with tender swollen breast for around 3 years before she ever started her period, so don't panic. You can use family history as a guide line, if women on either side of the family started early chances are she will too. My oldest daughter started around 13 same as me but my middle daughter didn't start until 14 1/2. I ask the doctor if I should worry and she said it has alot to do with mental state, weight, and if they are around other women who menstruate. My daughter was spoiled and thought she was still the baby, she only weighed 92lbs and I had a hysterectomy so I no longer menstruate all 3 caused her to start later. Every girl is different and change from from a girl to a young woman at different rates. Some may show the 1st sign and seem to change over night and others may take years . I hope I have helped.

Is it possible for an 11 year old boy to go through puberty?

Absolutely. The complex set of factors that set off the hormone releases that lead to puberty vary widely from person to person, even within the same family. Environmental factors can be a part of it, too.I began puberty around late 14/early 15 (a touch “late”).My son, my eldest child, began puberty around late 13, fairly average. My elder daughter, only 15 months younger than my son, began puberty around a year before him, at 11, somewhat young. She annoyed her brother no end by growing taller than him for about six months during this period (because she ran around calling him “little brother”). The situation resolved when he “caught up” in puberty terms and outgrew her. : )My younger daughter entered puberty late 12/early 13, average. But my older granddaughter entered puberty when she was 9. It startled her mom, my elder daughter, who knew from experience what it was like to develop on the early side. This was very early. She’s 11 now, but looks considerably older as her physical development is very advanced. Emotionally and psychologically, she’s still an 11-year-old, though. Her 9 year old sister has shown no signs of entering puberty yet.Do remember that the physical development of puberty is not the same as emotional and psychological development, so if your child is a bit ahead of the game, don’t let their more mature looks trick you into expecting more mature behavior (and conversely, be careful of other people encouraging “older”—though not necessarily mature!—behavior because of the way they look).

18 years old and still no puberty!? Help please!?

Hey :) I had the EXACT SAME problem as you, and I was scared, confused and worried.

The first thing is DON'T PANIC. Since you're a late puberty starter, you are actually STILL GOING THROUGH PUBERTY.

Yes, most people finish puberty at age 18, but a lot of people finish at age 21, and there have been reported cases of some people finishing puberty at up to 25 years old!

Just wait, give it time! You can ejaculate, which means you are 2/4 of the way there! The next steps are deepened voice, facial hair, and growth of genitalia!

DO NOT BE EMBARRASSED. I can almost guarantee that by age 21 you will have finished puberty =)

If, by age 21, you have not finished puberty, THEN you should go see a doctor.
If you're still feeling uneasy and uncomfortable, you can go and see a doctor now if you want!
Other than that, relax!!! Let nature do it's thing!!!

Am I going through puberty too fast?

Puberty starts and ends differently for each individual.
One may see a slow start to it (usually at 12) and it will slowly continue throughout the teenage years.
In your case, you've started a bit late at 14, and you're coming along with it very well. What you're experiencing is perfectly normal and there's nothing to be afraid of. You're just turning into man!
Your body is just maturing a bit quicker than others, and if you learn more about this and be educated, it shouldn't be a bother.

Im 14 and have not gone through puberty yet?

i am a 14 year old boy. i am 5'2 the shortest right now in my class. ALL my friends show clear signs of puberty such as height, lower voice, arm pit hair, hair in other places, and im also guessing that their you know what is bigger than mine also. im also embarassed because im one of the oldest compared to my friends and they all out grow me. its very depressing and especially because my girl friend is the type that usually tries to get sexual so now im worried if it is to small its 4inches erect. i don't about any signs of puberty on me right now. because first off im f*cken 5'2, i have pubic hair on my penis but not like a bush like most adults, i have arm pit hair but not that much it is'nt visible to people who glance at it you'll have to like look close to see the hair. im really worried and depressed right now because of how all my little 12 year old friends are out growing me in months. i think the one of the worst cases to me was me and this boy were always competeing whose taller every day. and we were the same height but after on summer when we saw each other again he was like a tree compared to me and i really hated my life after. and so was amost every single girl in the class. and before you know it my girl friend will be taller than me.....f*ck my life right now...or atleast until i grow 5 inches in one summer so when i become a freshmen people won't mistake me for a 6 th grader. PLEASE I NEED ADVICE OR HELP

Is it normal for my daughter, who is 8-years-old, to be showing signs of puberty?

Whether or not it is normal biologically is open to some debate, according to other answers already given. However, from a psychological standpoint, you have to consider whether she is emotionally ready to handle the onset of menstruation, which would probably come in the next year or so.Many girls can handle it just fine but some, whether because of cognitive or emotional delay, may find it just too much to handle. There is medication that can be administered to delay further development until the child, her parents and doctor feel she is ready for menarche.A child I know started showing outward signs of puberty at eight, but has the emotional age of a child some years younger. She was administered a “puberty blocker” in the form of an implant in the upper arm. It was implanted subcutaneously once a year for three years. The last one was removed after she turned 12, and within six months she had her first period. She had by then been prepared for the eventuality, and was emotionally ready to both understand why it happens and to manage the personal care involved.I believe puberty blockers are covered by insurance and Medicaid (USA) if the child is diagnosed with precocious puberty.Puberty blockers are also used to delay puberty for transgender kids in order to give them more time to identify their gender.
