Which one would you want? :)And then, there are equivalents for regional dialects of each language.I speak Telugu. And we have many different regional dialects - Native Telangana, Hyderabadi Telangana, Guntur dialect, Vishakapatnam dialect, Chittoor dialect and so on. I wish the choice of words were better and finite but I understand the OP's curiosity.Shit -Eg: This is shit, it doesn't many any sense.We use the word 'Chettha' which literally means 'Garbage waste'.Damn is more or less used with sounds like "chal" "cha" "ayyaa" which are more like exclamations. They are not real words. When Fuck is used as exclamation, it's the same again.Fuck off literally translates to "Dengey (then-gay)" and is used pretty often by young people and much common in village backdrops compared to cities.
I don't know when did the slang word "ghanta" started meaning "nothing", but i can try to elaborate on the origin (how part). Now please don't assume this as the only or right explaination, but i feel logically this fits well.There is a word in Marathi as नकारघंटा which means saying no. E.g काय रे तुझी सारखी सारखी नकारघंटा? Meaning- why do you always say no? I feel origin of the word घंटा lies here. It might have otiginated from नकारघंटा. So i think someone just got bored of saying नकार before घंटा or got inspired from this word and started saying घंटा.Also, since the word has double meaning as penis, it might have became an instant hit. So that the same word served two purposes, saying no, that too with hidden profane meaning.Hope this helps. This is purely my deduction for the origin of this word. I personally feel finding the origin of slang word is very difficult, but its interesting to try the same.

There are mainly 4 slangs in AP and Telangana taken together.Telangana slang in which combination of Telugu, regional slang and Urdu are mixed. One of the interesting feature of Telangana slang is they don’t use the word (or very rarely use) ‘మీరు’. They always use ‘నువ్వు’ for second person.This is sweet and indicates intimacy with the other person.Rayalaseema slang: You can see which districts it comprises of in Wikipedia. The southern Chittoor and Nellore dialects sound similar to Tamil and in other districts dialects sound similar to Kannada.Mid Andhra Pradesh slang: This is the slang which is mostly used in movies and stories.Coastal Andhra Slang: There is not much difference between 3 and 4 but in coastal Andhra slang , there will be a deergham (దీర్ఘం) at the end of a sentence.
